@ScottJenningsKY Disappointed you would talk like this. When I first started watching you on CNN in the aftermath of Jan 6, thought you were a fair, non-biased Republican. Now starting to believe you are as radical right wing as the other extremists. Sad….
AM Quiet Time, I often read from Through the Year with Jimmy Carter. Read today was really good for the time we are in. “Too often misunderstanding, division, and lack of mutual respect prevail.” We can agree to disagree, but with a willingness to try to understand and respect!
Generations of American patriots, from our revolution onward, have fought for the principles Zelenskyy is risking his life to defend. But today, Donald Trump and JD Vance attacked Zelenskyy and pressured him to surrender the freedom of his people to the KGB war criminal who invaded Ukraine. History will remember this day— when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for.
There is an aggressor: Russia.
There is a victim: Ukraine.
We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so.
By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others.
Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginning—because they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.
We are very grateful to the United States for all the support. I’m thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people. Ukrainians have always appreciated this support, especially during these three years of full-scale invasion.
