Students get feedback on Pactful project proposals and prototypes. Next steps- students will refine their prototypes and prepare a pitch to present ideas. @PactfulApp@USD_JI#GlobalGoals
Excited to guide STEM students through the design process with projects focused on the #globalgoals.

Motorized conveyor belt with adjustable speed. Students control a “car” that has an ultrasonic sensor to signal when an obstacle has been detected. The design also includes lights and a servo controlled speedometer. @birdbraintech@microbit_edu
@BethKleinman@RasmusCarlsson8@birdbraintech@microbit_edu I intentionally keep instructions vague to give students the freedom to design. The only requirements were to use at least two sensors or inputs and two or three “outputs”- motors, lights or sound. This pair of students came up with this design.
@WhyMaker@birdbraintech@microbit_edu I can’t take the credit… I told students to create something using at least two inputs/sensors and at least two “outputs” and then let them run with it. This was all the work of a pair of 7th graders over the course of three weeks.
