I made this tweet 6 years ago after series of violence I had experienced as a gay man in Nigeria…today I learned that this boy was killed due to homophobia. Nigeria isn’t safe for Queer people and it never gets better. It’s indeed heartbreaking that something as pure as loving who you love would get you killed in your own country.
