I remember year 2000 back in Kaduna, Nigeria. I woke up and said I wasn't going to school for no reason.

After so much drama with my Mom, she let me stay. My siblings were already late, so they stayed back.
An hour later, the riot started.
My Mom looked at me like the saviour for everyone that day because the thought of how she was gonna get us back home safe would have been insane.
