TAKE NOTE OF THR FOLLOWING JUST IN CASE!!!!!!
When you want you to write a statement at the POLICE station or EFCC or law enforcement office;
1. Don't leave blank spaces, cross a line over any blank space left once you are done.
2. Remember to put full stop once you are done writing and sign at the front of that full stop.
3. If you are forced to write a statement against yourself.
DON'T WORRY, at the signature part.
Just add UD as part of your signature (meaning under Duress)
4. It is not a WAEC answer sheet where you must fill up all the page, write what you know only and cross line on the space remaining.
5. Don't agree to write a statement when your lawyer or someone you trust is not there.
If they force you to write, remember (number 3 point.)
6. Avoid answering unnecessary questions when your lawyer is not there.
You have the right to remain silent, cos anything you say can be used against you in court
7. If POLICE send you invitation during weekend, try tell dem say you go show face on Monday as you are out of town for now, cos they will probably detain you till Monday before they can transfer you to court if the matter is the one the type they need to transfer to court
8. Don't forget to share this p0st
9. Sign on every page of the paper, not just the final page
10. If there is a mistake when writing, cross it out cleanly, write the correction, and place your initials directly beside the alteration.
Happy taco Tuesday ๐
When people talk about politics and elections as if it's Chelsea vs Arsenal, these are the results.
Elections have real life consequences.
In 2001, in Abuja, African heads of state came to the honest conclusion that if they wanted quality healthcare for their people, they would need to put aside 15% of their annual budgets for health sector. After the "Abuja Declaration", health workers we're so excited about the good things to come.
For context, the UK spends 38%, the US-26%, Saudi spends about 20%.
Guess what Nigeria budgeted on healthcare in 2025? A measly 5%. Like our leaders agreed that 15% was needed and decided the lives of Nigerians were not so important and implemented 5% instead.
How will there be bed spaces? There are about 79 federal tertiary hospitals, if you add state hospitals, there are about 120 tertiary hospitals catering for 200 million people.
The health workers we're are complaining about their attitudes are stretched to the limit and are barely standing.
A nurse who is ideally supposed to nurse 4-6 patients, is put in charge of 15-20 patients, all while earning less than N200k. If they attends to each patient the way they ideally should, they cannot possibly cater to all the patients under them. They don't have the allowance of time to be patient or polite as you'd want them to be.
The same nurse switches to a private hospital or goes abroad and becomes the sweetest soul because they aren't under the pressure cooker that is the average Nigerian public hospital.
About 60 thousand doctors are currently serving a population of 200million. If that doesn't make you worried, I don't know what will.
Doctors are grossly overworked and underpaid as well. I did 5 surgeries in a 24hr span during my last call, and I promise you I didn't feel like being polite or empathetic at the end of the 5th surgery because I was feeling like collapsing myself. This is my 5th year of residency and I've been on annual leave once, 3 years ago. Health workers are running on fumes and deserve credit for just showing up instead of running away to better climes.
Meanwhile the over 200 million Nigerians whose lives have literally been endangered by our leaders prefer to assault health care workers after a loss due to systemic failures rather than channel that rage against their wicked leaders.
Your fellow celebrities, who themselves have witnessed firsthand the dysfunction of Nigerian healthcare will still come out to endorse the same people who are stealing the resources that are supposed to cater for the health of all Nigerians. You will probably also endorse APC too, should the opportunity arise.
Finally, Paraphrasing @Wizarab10 , we all get the love (or leaders) we think we deserve.
Do you know that Ochacho gifting peller a house generated more reactions/traction from Nigerians more than the revelation linking Sen. Buba to terrorism?
Weโre a very useless and stupid generation.
I tell my non-medical folks that if they think the Nigerian health system is terrible, then they should imagine what theyโd think if they know what healthcare workers know about the system. The average outsider is only privy to a fraction of the mess we are in.
Healthcare workers are overcompensating, improvising, and covering up systemic lapses that should otherwise have made the entire system collapse a while ago. Patients and the relatives are also forced to make sacrifices and pay heavily to remedy the situation.
The outsider sees that the lab is delaying result. The healthcare worker sees that there is no light to process samples because the hospital is owing electricity bill and someone is sitting on the money.
Full blood count takes up to a week because a tertiary health facility still processes their samples manually, and you wonโt even get platelet count and haemogblobin concentration. The patient thinks it is just a delay, meanwhile, the result isnโt even complete.
Youโre finding it difficult to see a consultant because there is only one in the state, covering multiple government (and private hospitals) and their annexes.
For every fault you see, there is a rot that runs much deeper and someone has painted over it like all is well.
Vote out Tinubu in 2027.
My mum collapsed and we rushed her to Ace Medicare Hospital in Ota. When we got there, she was rejected. We took her to Ota General Hospital, we got there but there was no doctor on ground. The nurses advised us to take her elsewhere.
We went to two other hospitals, and she was rejected again. At one of them, the doctor referred us to LUTH in Idi-Araba or the General Hospital in Abeokuta and I began to imagine how do you refer someone who lives in Ota to Lagos or Abeokuta when she needs urgent medical attention?
At this point, we had no option. My dad suggested that we take her back home. I could not accept that. I started making phone calls, asking friends, neighbours, and anyone I thought might know of a hospital nearby. Eventually, a neighbour told us about Mercy Shield Hospital, somewhere around our neighbourhood. He said there was a doctor on ground.
We took her there. I remember being shocked when I saw the state of the hospital and the limited facilities available. But at that point, I was not looking for a perfect hospital. I just wanted someone to help my mother.
The doctor immediately commenced treatment. But before he did, he told us he would do his best, but the hospital doesn't have the facilities required to properly manage my motherโs condition.
I knew my mother was not getting the quality of care she needed. But what could I do? We had already gone from one hospital to another. She had been rejected multiple times. We had nowhere else to turn.
The most painful part was that my mother was registered at Ace Medicare. She had been receiving treatment there and normally went there whenever she needed medical attention. Yet, when she collapsed and needed urgent care, the hospital turned her away.
Three days later, she died.
I still struggle with the thought that her death could have been avoided if she had received timely and adequate medical care. What hurts even more is knowing that we did everything we could. We took her to hospitals. We pleaded. We made calls. We kept searching for somewhere that would take her.
THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY IS IN SHAMBLES.
Your citizenship really determines so much for you. As a Nigerian, your matter long ooo.
I had a Saudi classmate when I was fling my Masters. He explained to me that all Saudis in the UK were fully sponsored by the government. I asked what his plan was after school, he said he was going back home to take up a job. He didn't even like the UK. I don't blame him, he struggled with the language and culture.
I had Korean classmates (those ones are always rich and clean). No one was staying back or had plan to.
I saw Chinese classmate 2 years later. He had started a business with his babe. He told me the government encourages them to take loan to invest abroad. I thought we were just having a discussion. I didn't know he had his plan mapped out.
My Spanish friend (the only one I still talk to), I asked him when he was going to pick up his British passport since he was eligible for it having been in UK for many years, he said he didnt need it that his passport takes him where he needs to go. I spoke to him recently and he said he is looking to leave the UK soon. He wants to return home to Barcelona. That reminds me, he has been inviting me to Barcelona ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
At the start of Covid, my Canadain flatmate packed his bag and left. He told me he would finish his program from there. I once asked how he was paying for his program (Law Undergraduate), he said he took a loan from the bank in Canada.
Then you look at Nigerians- we are always looking for how to stay back at all cost because home offers nothing. Conversation always centred around sponsorship jobs - even if it is care job. This is after working 12 hours shift through out your Masters to pay for your fees and cover for your living expenses. People are even so desperate, they are paying 10k to 12k for sponsorship job just to stay back.

A Beginner's Step-by-Step Guide (rt and bookmark)
The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off June 11
and for clippers this is the biggest window of opportunity you'll see in four years
This guide breaks down exactly how to get started from zero with no experience whatsoever
Clipping is taking sharp moments like goals, drama, reactions and hot takes,
then editing them into short 15โ60 second vertical videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels,
You post these clips on your own accounts the views get tracked and you get paid per 1,000 views
The reason brands and platforms pay for this is simple,
short-form clips that look like organic content outperform traditional ads because the algorithm pushes them harder
Now you understand lets get started....
Don't post on your personal page,
create fresh accounts specifically for World Cup and football content on:
โ TikTok (Preferably create a Uk Tiktok acc)
โ Facebook Reels (Preferably create a Uk Tiktok acc)
Use a football-related username and start posting pre-tournament content now, predictions, group breakdowns, player profiles
so the algorithm learns your niche before kickoff

โ Screen record or downlaod highlights from FIFA's official YouTube and TikTok, these are free and publicly posted by FIFA themselves
โ Download match highlights from YouTube using tools like yt-dlp, https://t.co/ixyKiwyMCl or https://t.co/HQ9ICdC64K, most clippers pull their raw footage this way
โ Use press conference and interview footage, these are widely available on YouTube and easy to clip
โ Campaign footage from platforms like Whop or https://t.co/yaumZwFTnW, some campaigns provide the footage for you so all you do is edit and post,
The key thing to remember is don't just repost raw footage with nothing added,
always add your own layer on top whether that's commentary, face cam, text overlay, captions, reactions or analysis,
that's what makes it your content and keeps you safe from takedowns
The hook is everything, lead with the most dramatic moment in the first 1โ2 seconds
โ Captions are non-negotiable, use CapCut's auto-caption feature with bold readable fonts
โ Emotions beat skills every time, goals are great but tears, celebrations, controversy, underdog moments and fan reactions get shared way more
โ Keep it short, 15 โ 30 seconds for maximum reach on TikTok and facebook, 60+ seconds if you're targeting TikTok's Creator Rewards Program which pays on longer videos
โ Use relevant hashtags on every post, #WorldCup2026 #FIFA #Football plus team-specific and player-specific tags
Aim for 3โ5 clips per day,
the algorithm rewards consistency and every clip is another chance to go viral,
volume is what separates clippers earning $100 from those pulling $20,000+
Best times to post
โ 30 minutes before kickoff, fans are scrolling and hyped, your clip lands right in front of an active audience
โ Immediately after a match ends, everyone is hunting for highlights and reactions, first to post catches the wave
โ Halftime, fans are on their phones replaying what just happened
โ Morning after a late night match, millions who couldn't watch live are scrolling for what they missed,
Why this matters
โ the algorithm pushes content that gets fast early engagement, post when people are already searching and your clip gets picked up and pushed to more people
Post the same clip across TikTokand Facebook Reels, same work, 2 audiences, 2 chances to earn,
