I'm deeply shocked to hear of Trevor Francis' death. Such a gentleman and a wonderful player. I still reference him when talking to players, with his mid-stride toe-poke finish. I played with him when he was 37 but still a class performer. Thoughts with his family and loved ones.
It shows immense courage to show up and talk live on Sky Sports when you’re battling depression. It’s hard enough getting out of bed… We should be supporting Danny Rose, not kicking a man when he’s down. Great to see him putting himself back in the mix 💚
@Shaunelious@Lidds84 I get you mate! But you know what I mean. There’s people watching that like to comment on others downfall. Must be tough being in the public eye, with high expectancy, whilst battling mental illness.
@Lidds84 Keep pushing for brighter days Steve! I lost 10 years of my life to severe OCD, anxiety and depression. It was running that saved my life. I get what you’re saying, but imagine having it and the world watching your every move. We can get away with having a bad day…. 💚
@WatSim88 No it’s not negligent. It shows the world is changing for the better and we’re not leaving people to battle in the dark. It’s called breaking down stigma.
