@pureMetatron The original audience for the comics were boys aged 8 to 12. Can't understand why we keep making superhero movies. The stories were okay but they weren't so good that they make good movie material forever.

@Neccccy Yes and no. The narrative of WWII changed after the war was over. No one fought for this. They were told after the war what they fought for and this is the logical result of that.

I have never heard of apartments reserved like hotel rooms before. Landlords, apartment managers want to see you 1st

@itsrosesm The army serving steak and lobster is a stunt. They can't do that all the time. They want to raise morale, and raise their enlistment and re-enlistment rates.

This extravagance is what happens when you have an all-volunteer force and have to maintain a large force structure.

@itsrosesm The real problem is that the services compete with each other for recruits. Each service tries to show a better quality of life with better food, better living conditions and more money. That's what really adds up. The Air Force is the champion of that game.
