Night 2 may have been a solid rebound, but it doesn't get rid of the stink of Night 1 making it very much a bottom tier WrestleMania event. So many inexcusable issues in this TKO Era -
Iyo Sky, the best wrestler in the company who gave the best match at last year's event, doesn't even make this one and is only relegated to a sidekick role to Rhea Ripley. Giulia, Tiffany Stratton, Carmelo Hayes, Ilya Dragunov fall in the same boat of not having matches with their spots being given to celebrities and influencers - a baffling choice for their biggest wrestling show
This obsession to reach the mainstream, casual crowd to such an extent that them doing it at the expense of the actual wrestling, booking, build, talent is unacceptable.
Countless ads eating up all the runtime that could've been easily used to have longer, more meaningful matches is a curse for the fans watching these PLEs and weekly TV.
The overall corporatisation of the product like it was never seen before and their interference on the creative side leading to the McAfee fiasco has been nothing but a net negative as a product. Without that, we would've have got Alaister Black in that role and the plan for that with the Randy Orton character was fantastic and we were robbed of it.
No matter how bad the weekly shows were, the company used to ace the PLEs. That's not the case anymore. The product is not doing well and if money, shareholders and "corporate synergy" are the priorities over wrestling and storytelling then we are not on board.
This needs to change..DESPERATELY
