@treesforlifeuk@nature_scot This looks excellent. I'd love to do some of this work outdoors and to get back up north - might even work for free/sandwiches if I didn't have a family to support. Maybe my contribution can be leaving the unkempt garden just a bit longer!
Aye!! One of the reasons for having no time, and yet I am prepared to commit more time than I have to part-time data skills updating! (To save long-term...)
Scary world. Need to use any work and free time to keep up! This might get us all back in the office sooner than expected :-) (oh dear out of date emoticon, sorry, and no followers either! Here's to free online time!)
@LandEthics@MilesKing10 Reminds me I must find time to actually read The Accidental Countryside (on 'extended' loan from my lovely local library). I must also make time to take Twitter and LinkedIn more seriously too...!
@GaryRWatmough @GeorgeMonbiot I do like cows but from my slightly ignorant perspective his Feral book seemed to make sense. Currently reading (when I can) The Hidden Life of Trees. People were championing conifer monocultures the other day. People eh?
@kennethfield We do try! Been a pandemic since my Data Science/Mining/ML epic CPD distraction though. I once knew some maths too. Working on more of the rest too.
Plus marketing. And tidying.
Intrigued to hear this former senior Met office suggest the politics of #PartyGate may have deterred the force from investigating. If there’s evidence the law may have been breached aren’t the police duty bound to probe?

@DaveB1038 @Link1709 @AndyOsb97287354@SkyNews Cowardly GPs? Honestly? Ours work very long hours. Have you tried volunteering on the frontline? Or you could join the 2nd line and crunch data from a safe vantage point. Or you could sit at home?

A cyclist takes advantage of free propulsion along the Weymouth Harbour streets holding onto a class 117 as it (tightly) threads its way along to the Quay station.

@kathryntickell Story was he used to play in Europe too with Don Cherry. Need to check the story again I think - perhaps this wasn't the regular Carter Bar pipe - who's on Youtube I think!
@kathryntickell I'm trying to remember the name of the piper who used to play up Carter Bar in the 70s/80s/90s. I remember being told he used to pop up to Embra for a toot occasionally (reedsman I presume) and was suitably refreshed at the Uncle's house before being pointed back over Soutra...
