I built a small companion app for anyone running Vault Breaker on Marathon: https://t.co/wWLsjY344D
Use this while you're actually running. Select the vault key you just picked up to see exactly what that vault needs to open, nothing else. @MarathonDevTeam#marathon
Have fun!
Vault Breaker is Marathon's first experimental PvE mode, set in Cryo Archive. Play as a crew, duo, or solo—no enemy players. Power up across runs with roguelite progression to overcome UESC hordes, vault security measures.... and even the Compiler.
Available July 21 - August 4.
Zero novidade…
I have been relatively quiet about “Destiny 2 vs Marathon” discourse despite being constantly asked questions about it,
because the reality is I don’t care.
I play games for fun (as all should), and if they one day make a Destiny 3, yay…
if they don’t, that’s okay too.
I owe Destiny 2 a lot, and I love the game, but it’s not up to me NOR do I find comparing 2 completely different games a fun use of my time. 🙂❤️
I am no longer entertaining the idea that Marathon should have been a different experience or that Bungie is somehow wrong about the game they made.
I refuse to wait an arbitrary amount of time to appreciate the incredible experience in front of me all so I can fit in with a crowd that wasn't going to play it anyway.
Marathon is an incredible game.
Not in retrospect. Right now.
The thing about the Brazilian payment system Pix is that it’s superior to US alternatives and Brazilians know it. Attacking it thus makes the US look like a bad loser. Pix succeeded because it’s better, not because of unfair trade practices.
This Destiny vs Marathon bullshit is such loser behavior.
Losing Destiny sucks. It REALLY sucks. But at the end of the day, Sony doesn’t give a damn about this vocal minority arguing on Twitter.
Play what you enjoy & leave it at that. Our community is better than this.
The “play June 9” movement is the most I’ve seen this community evangelize D2 in years.
More than when Final Shape was amazing. More than when the Witch Queen hit HARD.
When you spend a decade just complaining, all outsiders hear is how even the community hates Destiny.
Darkness descends on Tau Ceti IV. Season 2 begins June 2.
Featuring a new map with Night Marsh, a new Runner shell Sentinel, the Cradle, new weapons, progression improvements, and more.
At its best, content was a machine to create memories and friendships. No new content stings.
This pain is about losing a place where so many memories were made. It stings not because of what it was, but the realization of what it won't be.
