Your life is going to spoil if you don’t learn to disappoint your parents early. And by that, I don’t mean becoming a nuisance to society or a disgrace to your family.
You must learn to rebel against your parents early in life. Let them know that you are a difficult child who doesn’t fold easily.
If you take every piece of advice your parents give you, especially if you come from a poor home, you might never make it out of the trenches.
African parents, especially, are not always open-minded. Many still think like it’s 2005. They are people pleasers who care more about what people will say than what you want or what will make you happy. Disappoint them early so they can bring you down from the pedestal they have placed you on. It will help you go far in life.
There are adults who cannot travel to another city in search of greener pastures because their parents are too strict.
There are adults, especially Christians, who cannot wear trousers, earrings, wigs, lip gloss, etc., because their parents still hold on to archaic beliefs that these things are sinful. They still hide to do things that make them happy simply because they have not broken free.
Heck, there are adults who still have curfews because they have controlling parents. And we both know this is not always about protection.
Have you ever wondered why, no matter how much their parents criticize the black sheep of the family, they often seem to have more freedom and even more opportunities to succeed? It’s because they have broken free. Their “Giran mentality” has helped them discover their own paths early in life.
Until you realize that your parents can unintentionally sabotage your life, you might never find the courage to rebel against their control. And if you don’t rebel and fight for your own life, you might never break free.
You are a human being with your own goals, dreams, and aspirations. You are not an extension of your parents, nor are you an experiment designed to correct their mistakes.
They will be disappointed in you. They will complain, criticize you, and call you names. But I promise you, they will adjust. They will get used to the new program, and they will be fine.

The traditional marriage is a standard type of marriage.
If my parents have blessed my marriage and prayed over me, then I am married. Whether or not I go to church after that is my choice.
This your hill, you will be the only one there.
If marriage is a covenant before God, then what exactly makes it a covenant? Is it the building? Is it the church ceremony? Or is it the commitment made between the man and woman before God and witnesses?
My point is simply this. You cannot tell someone who has legitimately entered into marriage through a traditional ceremony that they are not married to their spouse, or that they have no right to sleep with their spouse, simply because they have not had a church wedding.
If a man and woman have entered into marriage, their families have recognised it, they have made their vows and commitments, and they have committed that marriage to God, why are we suddenly saying God only recognises it if it happens inside a church?
A pastor or priest can bless a traditional marriage. The families can pray over it. The couple can pray over it. God does not need a church building before He can be present in a marriage.
That is my point. If you still disagree, that is perfectly fine. Let’s agree to disagree, because honestly, I don’t have the strength to argue about this all day.
Hello Mr. @kunleafolayan, I hope this finds you well.
There is a gentleman who just came out of the @BBNaija house, a great actor & an intelligent one at that by name @Gerardadebija. I humbly ask you to check him up. He will be a good addition to your next production.

This isn’t an explanatory report like I demanded but a muddled up report.
My mail to you @MTNNG was well detailed and explanatory that a secondary school student can easily read and understand.
I believe I duly deserve the honor I gave you in return.
There is nothing for me to refer to as appendix to better understand your HOUR and TIME.
Now, you’re indirectly asking me to incur the cost of a data analyst hope you’re well aware of that🤝 because I’ve been trying to read this since I received it but the hours you listed out and time🤷♀️
You will receive a response from me when we are fully done reviewing but I just thought to bring this to your attention ahead of time
