if these babies were Jewish it'd be on a 24 hour cycle. broadcasters would be screaming "holocaust" from the rooftops. their parents and grandparents, uncles and aunts and neighbors would be interviewed. we'd know about every soccer game, dance class, and school play they ever participated in. politicians would be enacting new laws, sending billions more to Israel. and so on.
western media is beneath contempt because we don't hear a peep about these young lives, just like we didn't hear a peep about the tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza.
Hussein Saleh lost 8 members of his family in an Israeli strike on their home, including his pregnant wife.
He found the head of his young daughter amid the rubble. “When I picked up her head, everything changed. Something in my heart broke and went silent.”
It is one of the most heartbreaking stories @NadaOHomsi and I have worked on during the war.
Nothing could justify such a horrific attack.
Where to find the words anymore?
What to say when Israel continues to behave like this?
And no condemnation at all from the UK Government. They carry on business as usual as if Israel aren't carrying out genocides in both Gaza and Lebanon.

Wow. Everyone should read this 1983 article by Roald Dahl. Every word of it. It's literally the same fucking shit as now, with the same kind of impunity, only now it's even much worse. He called it. He fucking called it and they just ignored him and called him an antisemite.
Israel's conviction rate of Palestinians (in military courts) is 99.74%
Israel's conviction rate of reported settler attacks on Palestinians is 1.8%
Israel's death sentence will only apply against Palestinians not Israeli Jews
It's not complicated. It's Apartheid!
Convicted terrorist and Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir celebrates the Knesset vote in favor of executing Palestinian prisoners by a wide margin
It’s a death cult, folks
The nazification of Israel is complete. They’re about to mass murder ~10,000 Palestinian hostages, many of them children. Greater Israel is the 4th Reich.
"One of the soldiers raped me by violently inserting, a wooden stick, into my anus.
After about a minute, he removed it and inserted it again, more forcefully, while I screamed loudly. Then he forced me to open my mouth and lick the stick.
They put me on a metal table, pressed my chest and head against it, cuffed my hands to end of the bed and pulled my legs apart forcefully. I felt a penis penetrating my anus and a man raping me. I started screaming, and they beat me on my back and head.
While I was blindfolded, I felt a man who was raping me ejaculate inside my anus. I kept screaming and being beaten, and I could hear a camera, so I believe they were filming me.
I cannot describe what I felt. I wished for death. Every moment." @FranceskAlbs shared the testimony of a Palestinian torture survivor.
Rest in peace, Patricia Routledge 🙏🏻
In memory of her, I encourage everyone to read these words of hers from February last year.
Whether young or old, you're bound to get something out of it.

"I’ll be turning 95 this coming Monday. In my younger years, I was often filled with worry — worry that I wasn’t quite good enough, that no one would cast me again, that I wouldn’t live up to my mother’s hopes. But these days begin in peace, and end in gratitude.
My life didn’t quite take shape until my forties. I had worked steadily — on provincial stages, in radio plays, in West End productions — but I often felt adrift, as though I was searching for a home within myself that I hadn’t quite found.
At 50, I accepted a television role that many would later associate me with — Hyacinth Bucket, of Keeping Up Appearances. I thought it would be a small part in a little series. I never imagined that it would take me into people’s living rooms and hearts around the world. And truthfully, that role taught me to accept my own quirks. It healed something in me.
At 60, I began learning Italian — not for work, but so I could sing opera in its native language. I also learned how to live alone without feeling lonely. I read poetry aloud each evening, not to perfect my diction, but to quiet my soul.
At 70, I returned to the Shakespearean stage — something I once believed I had aged out of. But this time, I had nothing to prove. I stood on those boards with stillness, and audiences felt that. I was no longer performing. I was simply being.
At 80, I took up watercolour painting. I painted flowers from my garden, old hats from my youth, and faces I remembered from the London Underground. Each painting was a quiet memory made visible.
Now, at 95, I write letters by hand. I’m learning to bake rye bread. I still breathe deeply every morning. I still adore laughter — though I no longer try to make anyone laugh. I love the quiet more than ever.
I’m writing this to tell you something simple:
Growing older is not the closing act. It can be the most exquisite chapter — if you let yourself bloom again.
Let these years ahead be your TREASURE YEARS.
You don’t need to be famous. You don’t need to be flawless.
You only need to show up — fully — for the life that is still yours.
With love and gentleness,
Patricia Routledge

Once more, rest in peace. 🤍
@tayoakintunde Yes, the claim aligns with facts: Jarred Gillett, a declared Liverpool fan, is refereeing Arsenal vs. Leeds (Aug 23), right before Arsenal vs. Liverpool (Aug 30). Last season, as VAR before a Liverpool match, he recommended Saliba's red card, which was contentious.
So little, so late, President @vonderleyen :
After you have given Israel 21 months a free pass in Gaza, it will take more than words to prevent Israel from completing its genocidal mission and overt ethnic cleansing campaign. And even more, to repair what's left of the EU credibility.
A tipping point has been reached.
Gaza is now starving to death in front of the whole world.
Those who facilitated and justified this abomination were given ample warning for 21 months.
You have no excuses, and nowhere to hide: you will be held to account for what you've done.
Israel has announced they will be putting the people of Gaza into concentration camps.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu has nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize.
This is where we are.
Silence is complicity.
“If you supply weapons to somebody that is accused of acts of genocide, then you yourself become complicit in those acts as well”
Retweet if you agree with Corbyn
We are witnessing the first livestreamed genocide in history.
Those who facilitate these crimes against humanity should face accountability — not those who have the humanity to oppose them.
End all arms sales to Israel, now.
Gary Lineker has had an extraordinary career on and off the pitch. A brilliant sportsman, an outstanding broadcaster and a wonderful human being.
For millions of people, @GaryLineker is the face of Match of the Day, but for millions more he is also the face of humility, warmth and decency.
He had the courage to defend the humanity of refugees and to speak out against the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. That should be recognised, remembered and celebrated.
Gary will be a huge loss to the BBC, but we will never forget the compassion he has shown for others.
Thank you Gary.

PGMOL chief Howard Webb admits Manchester City's Mateo Kovačić was "extremely fortunate" not to be sent off against Arsenal 🟥
Just a reminder of the dangers of all the Cromwell apologists. You get despicable mass murderers being rehabilitated as national heroes. Their revisionist history has been trying to white-wash the evil heritage of British rule for centuries.
It's a cynical exercise to simultaneously alleviate their guilt whilst also maintaining social cohesion with the children of the old empire. You don't want millions of teenagers every year learning how their cultures were raped, pillaged, and enslaved.
In Ireland, under Cromwell alone,
618,000 out of 1.5 million died from fighting, famine, and disease. That's roughly 41% of the population. And then there's 50,000 deported as indentured slave labourers to Barbados.
I don't care what you accuse me of, it's water off a Dubliners back. But I won't see Cromwell fanboys go unchallenged. Oliver Cromwell wasn't an "adventurer" as per the ladybird fantasy of history taught to British kids. He was a genocidal tyrant who believed he had a mandate from God to exterminate and enslave the Irish. He failed.
