I was not defending the lady at all, her reaction was uncalled for. But my point was that the worker took everything personally, like they all kind of ganged up on her as well with a sly attitude, part of working in hospitality is dealing with these psychopaths by de-escalating. A “We’re sorry about that we’ll sort you out” would’ve shut most shitty customers up, yeah it’s frustrating but your job isn’t to fire back passive-aggressively, I’d never hire any of these easily triggered kids if I were to own a bar, they’d start fighting with any customer that even raises an eyebrow.
