My family is going through very difficult conditions after the heavy rain that destroyed all our tents. We urgently need new tents because everything is worn out and torn, and the prices of tents are very high since Israel prevents tents from entering Gaza. My family consists of 22 people, and we are in desperate need of funds. So I beg you a million times to donate and share the campaign.

It is deeply unfortunate that the campaign hasn't received any donations.
This is a critical emergency; their situation is heartbreaking enough to move a stone to tears. Please, help this deaf man.
A million times, please, donate and share the campaign.
Ahmed, a young deaf man, is living through unimaginable conditions with his five children.
He suffers from ear bleeding due to the constant shelling throughout the ongoing genocide. They live between four torn blankets that barely make a tent; poverty, illness, and hunger have ravaged them cruelly.
I beg you a million times to look upon him with mercy.
Please donate and share the campaign.

Today, and every day, after I finish the routine of this life forced upon me, wearing down a body that has become soulless, I walk with heavy, slow steps toward the sea. From the aftermath of my heart’s terrifying aches, my mind gives birth to countless memories that both existed and never were. To my misfortune, my heart, I walk, without you, in the presence of nothingness. I walk amidst the debates of the displaced; the first asks: "How long will we remain like this?" while the other curses Netanyahu and replies: "For a very long time."
Will I ever return to you, my room?
To my misfortune as well, I do not know the answer. I am no longer equipped to answer, as if the world ground to a halt at the very last jerrycan, and instead of filling it with water, I filled it with regret. The regret of fleeing my hometown, Beit Hanoun. If only the house had been bombed over my head, and I had died there, among the flowers I planted with my own tired hands.
If only the world, mother, had spared me just a little, so I could offer you something more than my talk of longing. Perhaps I could have, but I failed. Perhaps the tragedy of this reality, mother, will change one day.
And it is so difficult for me to believe all the real-life horrors happening in this time of ours. I move forward, my heart overflowing with weeping and wailing; I move forward, trapped between the past and the past.
With Elon Musk amplifying anti-Muslim propaganda and censoring pro-Muslim voices, I would like to have a test here:
Say hello if you don't have a problem that I'm a Muslim and that I'm just your friend on twitter.

Amidst the U.S./Israeli genocide on Gaza, Palestinians are working to preserve & rebuild libraries and cultural institutions. @phoenixlibrary1 is the first library in Gaza to open since the genocide began.

One of the most cruel and horrific scenes: a fetus was killed in its mother’s womb before ever seeing life, a victim of the Israeli war on Gaza
We will never forget, and we will never forgive 💔
@sabreenaGS All the wars waged by America have the ultimate goal of altering the native cultures of indigenous peoples, diluting their characteristics, and intellectually occupying them.
“Who taught you to hate the texture of your hair? Who taught you to hate the color of your skin…to such extent you bleach, to get like the white man? Who taught you to hate the shape of your nose and the shape of your lips? Who taught you to hate yourself from the top of your head to the soles of your feet? Who taught you to hate your own kind? Who taught you to hate the race that you belong to, so much so that you don’t want to be around each other?”
- Malcolm X, during his “Who taught you to hate yourself” presentation in Los Angeles, May 5, 1962.
One of colonialism’s greatest successes was convincing Black, Indigenous, racialised people that proximity to power is more valuable than solidarity with each other.
We see it every day in the way some of us dismiss the suffering of Black and brown communities, excuse state violence, mock immigrants, look down on people with accents, or stay silent when racism doesn’t affect us directly.
Internalized colonialism teaches us that some people are more human than others. It teaches us to see ourselves through the eyes of those who oppressed us and then rewards us for reproducing that violence against each other.
You cannot spend your life trying to prove you are one of the “good ones” without simultaneously suggesting that someone else must be one of the “bad ones.”
That is why empathy becomes conditional. That is why some people can witness the suffering of Black and brown people and feel nothing. Because colonialism did not just steal land and resources, it reshaped whose pain we believe matters.
Liberation is not wearing traditional clothes once a year. It is refusing the lie that our dignity is earned through our distance from other oppressed people.
If your politics do not deepen your empathy for Black and brown lives, then colonialism is still doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Im at a loss for words at how many times we have seen this happen and the world allows it to happen again and again
Fire consumes and devours people's bodies—scenes that no human mind or heart can endure. They executed us by gunfire, they buried us under buildings, and they even buried us alive. They turned our bodies into pieces, and some bodies simply evaporated. They raped our women and our men, and they made us taste every kind of torture. Is there any pain left that we have not yet tasted?
Fuck this vile world that abandoned us to these monsters.
Israel has arrested my friend Mahmoud al-Najjar, the founder of Al-Mukhayam (The Camp) magazine, which he established during the genocide on Gaza. Just about a month ago, we were sitting together in my bookstore, 'Al-Anqa' (The Phoenix), talking endlessly about books.
He is not a member of Hamas; this is a lie fabricated by Israel. Because Israel is not just fighting Hamas, but is an enemy to every Palestinian—especially the educated and cultured ones.
I am truly devastated. Freedom for my friend Mahmoud al-Najjar.
⭕️ The Israeli military is now claiming that Gaza student Mahmoud al-Najjar, who was detained while attempting to leave for university studies in Italy, is a Hamas operative who participated in the October 7 attack.
The allegation was made by Israeli military spokesperson Lt. Col. Ariella Mazar on X. As of publication, Israel has not publicly provided any evidence to support the claim.
Al-Najjar’s family says he had secured permission to leave Gaza after months of effort and was traveling to attend Tor Vergata University in Rome. He is also the sole survivor of his immediate family after an Israeli airstrike killed his wife, four children, and other relatives in October 2024.
A horrific massacre is being committed by Israel right now in Gaza under the cover of night.
When will this end? When will they let us live? Where is the ceasefire they claim??
This is a family that I know and needs help to continue surviving in Gaza.
People in Gaza are on the cusp of collapse. All we can do is help them.
