Tail Concerto was the very first game made by CyberConnect, years before .hack and Naruto Ultimate Ninja. Released in 1998, it's a steampunk action-adventure starring a police officer in a mech suit, set across floating islands populated by dog and cat societies. It sold poorly, but today it's remembered as one of the most charming and overlooked PlayStation exclusives ever made.

It's really fun but I kinda wish they updated Ness' sprite to resemble the Famicom one a bit more.

I guess it's an Earthbound romhack after all but it kinda feels like Earthbound with the Mother 1 story and nothing else changed.

Still a really cool way to play the original, recommended if you've already played the Famicom one!
