LESHA THE SOLDIER: Russia's HONORABLE Assassin 🇷🇺🏴☠️
Aleksey Sherstobitov, known as Lesha the Soldier, is the most legendary hitman from the 90s in Russia. He has only been convicted for 12 of the hits he carried out and keeps silent about many more. He used sniper rifles, explosives and traps to dispatch his targets, even scoring one of his kills with a headshot from a revolver at 47 meters.
The odious Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky only escaped death at his hand when the hit was called off at the last minute.
A former military special forces officer, he was manipulated into becoming a hitman by an ex-military colleague. His personal code of honor did not allow him to kill innocents, women and children and he refused many orders from the bosses of the organized crime groups he worked for that he considered to be morally unjustified.
He was so good at covering his tracks, that the police believed that he was an urban myth in the criminal community and that the killings were done by a group of hitmen. The Soldier was only caught in 2005, when Kurgan OPG leader Andrei Koligov snitched on him to reduce his own prison sentence, long after he had given up his deadly profession.
He is currently living a very comfortable life and tending to the gardens at a penal colony. He married a beautiful doctor from St. Peterburg in 2016 who was 18 years his junior in a "Prohibition Gangster" style wedding. The Russian penal system allows conjugal visits.
A published author, poet and martial artist, Lesha the Soldier will be released in 2031.
