Good step by Pakistani Form 47 / FM announces visa-on-arrival for international journalists to cover the Islamabad peace talks.

But the hypocrisy is shocking: While foreign journalists are welcomed freely, local Pakistani journalists & TV channels have been strictly told they cannot run live transmissions, break any news, or cover the negotiations without government permission. They can only air what they’re told to.

To put into perspective: In 2024 newyork flooded with 177mm and that too it wasn’t in all of newyork. Most parts received between 50-100 mm. However, most of karachi received over 100mm in couple of hours.

We had constructed 2 rain water harvesting tanks. One behind the Sindh Secretariat (100,000 gallons capacity) and one at Burns Garden (130,000 gallons capacity). Both the interventions have worked out well ensuring that not only the rain water is stored and saved but also the surrounding area remains clear. We will now endeavour to replicate this in other low lying areas of Karachi

Few facts related to KP’s new CM Ali Amin Gandapur:

1. He raped a 16-year-old girl in Dera Ismail Khan, stripped her naked in the streets & markets.
2. VC of Gomal University, Dr. Iftikhar, was bullied by Ali Amin Gandapur for not paying ex-gratia & it was not limited to universities only. During Imran Khan's regime, a call of Ali Amin Gandapur was leaked in which a person named Imtiaz could be heard asking him to send his share of funds.
3. Ali Amin Gandapur was involved in the transfer of criminals from KP to Zaman Park after Imran Khan's government left & sending TTP terrorists to Rawalpindi, Islamabad with arms on May 25th.
4. Ali Amin Gandapur has innumerable cases of illegal weapons & ice trafficking, liquor delivery, kidnapping, murder, terrorism, attack on police post.
