Epstein survivor: "Mr. Blanche said he would meet with survivors. Well, we're here and we are ready to meet. You were asked if you were Donald Trump's friend. You responded and misspoke, 'I'm his lawyer.' You are the American people's lawyer. We call on every senator who values justice to vote against confirming Todd Blanche as the Attorney General. To every senator, especially Tillis and Cornyn preparing to vote, please listen to us."
Sen. Schumer responded to Sen. Collins on the Senate floor today
"Yesterday, Senator Collins of Maine tried pinning the blame on Democrats even though she voted against an amendment requiring ICE to wear body cameras just last month.
Absolutely shameless. Absolutely shameless.
If Republicans had accepted our proposal for body cameras, warrant requirements, use-of-force standards, training, and other basic reforms used by every law enforcement across the country, these killings could have been prevented"
Senator Collins, Mainers aren’t stupid.
You could've voted to stop Trump’s $990 billion Medicaid cuts in their tracks. Instead, you voted to advance them to the Senate floor.
You can't hide from this. In November, we are going to defeat you.
Houston-area prosecutors now tell CNN they believe the substances in Lorenzo Salgado Araujo's van **were not drugs,** in contrast to a claim the FBI made in court documents.

.@JohnCornyn and Tillis should be concerned that the slush fund isn’t dead. Blanche doesn’t need a formal fund to spend billions on J6ers. If a J6er files an administrative claim, DOJ can settle that claim secretly and pay these felons millions without it ever becoming public.
He’s retiring, he’s leaving office, and yet @SenThomTillis looks like he still can’t bring himself to do the right thing. Tell me again my former political party will ever fix itself?
Sen. @DickDurbin to Acting AG Todd Blanche:
You have removed some of the most effective prosecutors that have ever served our government from the department. You testified under oath that as Deputy AG you'd consult with career ethics officials to avoid conflicts of interest, a significant concern since you received nearly $10 million as the president's personal attorney. But you've gutted the DOJ offices that handle ethics. After the department's top career ethics lawyer advised you to recuse yourself from any matters relating to Trump in his personal capacity, that lawyer was fired.
Dear @DHSgov: This video appears to contradict your statements. If a state or federal investigation shows an ICE agent (or ICE agents) committed murder, then those involved in covering up the murder can also be prosecuted.
November is coming.
I asked border czar Tom Homan why ICE agents weren't wearing body cameras in Maine or Texas, given Congress gave DHS $20 million for them back in April.
Last year some regrettable cost cutting decisions were made about foodborne pathogen testing, ending 28 years of screening for cyclosporiasis and quickly catching and quenching several outbreaks. Now we still have no idea what the source of this outbreak is. This is the price!!!
This is Todd Blanche’s corrupt Justice Department.
Dozens upon dozens of ignored oversight requests. This is EVERY SINGLE ONE.
He only believes in answering to Trump… not Congress… and not YOU.
For anyone excited by the latest (rehashed) fan fiction that Maduro helped rig tabulators for the 2020 election...
A reminder that Georgia has paper ballots.
You can't hack paper.
And it counted those paper ballots 3 times. Once by hand.
Each count yielded the same result.
The Reflecting Pool serves as an effective litmus test. In fact, reporters should ask any Republican they interview point-blank whether they agree with Trump that vandals made a 300-yard slash in the pool. Yes or no.
If they can’t simply answer “no” or they avoid the question, end the interview. You’ll know immediately that nothing else they say can be trusted.
