Benjamin Evan Ainsworth spoke about playing Link in The Legend of Zelda Movie:
"I can't speak too much on the film itself, but I remember vividly when Breath of the Wild came out โ and it might show my age โ but I remember being quite young at the time when it came out, and so I didn't have a Switch at the time. And so, I was watching gamers play it, and watching playthroughs, essentially."
"And then, upon being fortunate enough to play this role, such an iconic character, going back and realizing the 40 years of legacy and history, and the varied tones, the varied stories, the varied renditions and vocal performances of this character as well. Yeah, I'm a big fan, and just really excited, because it was an awesome thing to shoot. New Zealand is a wonderful place. But yeah, can't say too much more."

@NintendoUK I screamed when it came up. My mum thought I'd hurt myself, and I told her. I jumped, even cried a little and ran around. I then told everyone I know!
@SlLENTPRINCESS I'm from the UK, and their livestream crashed, then started working again. I zoned out and then I heard Hyrule and screamed. My mum thought I'd hurt myself. I jumped around and told everyone I know! Tears even filled my eyes! OOT was my first Zelda game.
i'll wait to see more game footage before i make an opinion, but...
as someone who's always ADORED zelda's cartoonish art style, i don't really like the realistic feel of the ocarina of time remake so far ๐ญ๐
I SCREAMED AT THE SCREEN AND MY MUM WAS ON A WORK CALL! SHE THOUGHT THAT I'D HURT MYSELF OR SEEN A MOUSE, LOL! I'VE BEEN JUMPING UP AND DOWN SINCE THE ANNOUNCEMENT AND TOLD EVERYONE THAT I KNOW!
