Keep me and my husband in your prayers fam, we are experiencing some difficulties finding each other.
I trust God to show up for us before the end of the month
Though we come from different tribes, cultures, and backgrounds, we are one body in Christ Jesus.
We have one faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, one purpose that unites us, and one hope in the one God and Father who is over us all.
May God bless and strengthen all the missionaries who tirelessly serve on the field, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and doing good works, just as our Lord Jesus commanded us.
We may be different in many ways, but in Christ, we are one ❤️
Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
Psalm 24:9
This is the word of God for August 2, 2026
50 days ago, I dropped my aunt off at a rendezvous with her traveling party.
8 hours later, I got a call to say my kind, generous aunt was dead, killed in a backwater by a speeding driver.
Much has happened since. None of it has been easy.
I wrote this to honor her memory:
As I was driving to work this morning, God reminded me of this video that was posted 15 years ago . If this ain’t enough for you to believe that JESUS IS REAL 😮💨 this Babygirl was 8 months in this video, but was in a coma since she was 2 months old due to being abused by a babysitter. She was in the hospital, and despite the doctor’s wishes, the mother took the baby to church. BY HER FAITH , GOD PERFORMED! 🙌🏽
1. Be vigilant in keeping your conversations, inboxes, direct messages, emails, & texts PURE.
2. Beware of those who use phrases like "this is between us," "you can trust me," or "I won't tell anyone" to get you to lower your guards or remove your boundaries.
3. Anything sown in secret is subject to a public harvest.
4. So be loving; but not lenient. Be friendly but firm. Be compassionate but clear.
5. Don't tolerate inbox chatter that would compromise your character or taint your testimony.
6. Let the last time you did it be the last time you will ever do it.
I hope this is clear?
To My Lover, Foluke.
Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.
With you, the weight of the assignment has always been a lighter cross to carry. Our two have agreed, and so our walking together has been of divine stride, a race continuously illuminated, step after step, decade after decade. My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.
Many people know you as Mummy G.O. I have the privilege of knowing you simply as my wife, my friend, and the person who has stood with me through every challenge, every victory, and every assignment God has given us. I have watched you give strength to others even when you were tired yourself. I have seen your quiet sacrifices, your compassion, your wisdom, and your unwavering trust in God. Those are the things that make me thank God for you every day.
Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion. Countless homes have been strengthened because you answered God’s call with all your heart.
Seventy-eight years of your life, fifty-eight years of them beside me, and still I find new reasons to thank God for you. You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold.
As you celebrate today, my prayer is simple. May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you. May He surround you with His peace, fill your days with fresh joy, strengthen your body, renew your strength, and continue to satisfy you with His goodness. May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind, and may you continue to see the mighty hand of God at work in your life.
Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.
