Did you know that back in 1946, during the horrors of Direct Action Day in Kolkata, the news reached every corner of India within 24 hours?

Even back then, we had telegrams, trunk calls, and the BBC. Everyone knew about the brutal violence against Hindus.

But the most surprising part? Gandhi Ji, who was usually so quick to react to everything, stayed absolutely silent for seven whole days.

When he finally spoke, his words were even more shocking.

He basically said it was better to remain silent on the issue.

And then he added that if all the Hindus of Kolkata had simply sacrificed their lives, India’s unity would have become immortal.

It makes you think, doesn't it? Is "unity" worth more than the lives of thousands of innocent people?

Why was the burden of sacrifice always placed on one side?

This video really opens up a part of our history that often stays hidden in the shadows.

It’s time we look at these events with open eyes and understand the reality of what our ancestors went through.
