just dawned on me that:
1. i’m the first Engineer in my family
2. i’m the first First-Class Engineer in my family
3. out of 65 Engineering courses, i had 44 A’s, 12 B’s and 9 C’s
all these i attribute to God my marker. 🙏🏼
It wasn’t easy at all. especially for someone like me who isn't conversant with being in front of a camera or putting myself out there.
I shot my first piece of content in my room more times than I can even count.
I almost gave up. at one point, I literally told myself, "Content creation just isn't for me."
but I just couldn't stop. "I’ve come too far to give up now," was what I kept whispering to myself. if I needed to rest, I did, but never to give up.
honestly, this is deeper than just "creating content" for me. I know exactly what I want to say, I’m certain about my message, & I want the world to hear it. that conviction kept me going.
maybe not perfect, but finally, I’m here with my first piece of content on the right mindset for starting any business from where you’re.
with this level of effort, just a like, a bookmark, or a simple repost will go a long way. you can also check out my TikTok @Omiyinks-Talks. that alone is the fuel I need to keep pushing.
please, don't scroll past. just drop a comment and let me know what you think of the video. your honest feedback will help me improve and get better. 🫶🏻❤️

if you’ve the right connection & the value to offer, you can easily get money. & if you get better money, you can get the right connection. however, having the r!ght connection without money might be hard unless the value you’ve to offer is madly strong, so just have money.
Two weeks ago, my guy Chinedu Nkemdirim (the 5STAR barber) hit me up in the DMs with that tired voice note. He’d been on garri for two straight days, no protein, no proper meal, while aiming to finish with first class in civil engineering at OOU, mobile barber gigs, and trying to push his modeling side.
That night, his account was completely dry. I didn’t even hesitate; I sent him the last ₦1k I had left. “Eat something solid tonight, king. This phase no go last forever,” I told him.
I was there when it all began. I gave him the shoutout that gave him his first 1k followers.
I once told him “Chinedu, this year, you'll become a millionaire" after he gave me an haircut that made my crush dump her boyfriend for me.
He laughed and called me “Samuel the hype man,” but I meant it.
The day his story would change, he didn't know..
" I no fit stop, until I chop.I must to make am, mummy must to chop.."
That post with that caption changed his story.
For the first two hours, the post was crawling at barely 100 views. I saw it,and retweeted.
That retweet was the spark the post needed, the views immediately skyrocket after my retweet that drags started coming in, people mocked his bed and apartment.
The drags turned into love and support. One influencer saw the bed and immediately sent money to change it. Others followed: new bed frame from Vinta Furniture, cash to paint the room, promises of a better place, and this jersey he just received. Chinedu kept it transparent, posting every step, every thank you, staying humble the whole time.
As at yesterday, his account balance was 2,345,567. This was someone with zero naira in his account two weeks
One day a moving man will meet his luck
Congratulations @5starbarber_1
The best thing you can do for your physical and mental health is to hit the gym.
If you're proud of your progress in the gym, quote this with a picture you took in the gym.
The decoration in the first frame was done by @theboyGandoki, one of the best event decorators out of Ibadan.
While in Uni, I saw him countless times grinding hard to meet and surpass clients’ expectations.
His work speaks for him and he deserves all the recognition he can get.
