@scobie Good lord โฆ if the Queen had cancer shouldnโt it be left to the family to decide whether or not that information should be made public? Many people lose family to cancer so can relate (I did).
But why lie to the public she died of old age?
You don't get to slap an extra 'cis' on me just because a group of men have an identity disorder. Their psychological issues are not my problem.
I am a woman. No 'cis' included.

In a letter to the UK government UN special rapporteur Reem Alsalem shared fears that the legislation "would potentially open the door for violent males who identify as men to abuse the process of acquiring a gender certificate and the rights that are associated with it"
@segm_ebm@LeorSapir As my local member, I want you to learn about this and speak up against transing children. @JulianLeeser and if I could find the Transing enthusiast Matt Keane. This must not happen to children on our watch.
The NHS guidance makes it clear that the model of "gender affirmation" has been rejected. Children with gender dysphoria are no longer viewed as "transgender children." Psychotherapy will be first line of treatment, hormones will be last. And yes, there will be data gathered. /5
SEGM has summarized the NHS England announcement in a recent blog. While Dr. McNamara is right that these are still draft guidelines that are not final, she is wrong that the only substantive change is more data gathering/ "more prospective studies." /4

Dr. McNamara told Florida's Medical Board that England's approach to pediatric gender dysphoria has not changed. Beyond gathering of "more data," she was not aware of any other substantive changes. The Economist, SEGM, and many others disagree with this assessment. /3
The U.S. gender medicine establishment has shown little curiosity about Europe's recent changes. Last month, a Yale adolescent medicine doctor was asked by the Florida Board of Medicine how these international changes can be reconciled with "affirmation" promoted in the US./2
A new article by The Economist explains England's move away from the affirmative care model, "which accepts patientsโ self-diagnosis as the starting-point for treatment." As England is "tiptoeing away from a medical scandal," the U.S. is doubling-down. /1 https://t.co/FIpXK8zFaE
@thezanussi @nannycrin Actually, the rules that now apply to UK citizens apply to the citizens of any Country not a member of the EU, EFTA or Schengen. And the UK, when an EU member, was at the forefront of drafting those rules. The Brexiteers knew this was going to be the result of leaving, they lied.
This is a bit of projection by the media. The @Guardian has long championed the hokum of gender identity and they share a hand in accounting for the rise of cases. The media that has pushed this madness without interrogating the non-science must answer.
