SpaceX Blocked A U.S. And NATO Satellite to Assist a Russian Intercept After Crippling Ukraine's Air Defenses

The Math Proves the Reality that Musk doesn't want you to see.
On Oct 13-14, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink during a 39-missile Russian attack, cutting Ukrainian drone intercepts by 23% and stranding U.S. personnel in Kyiv. Forty-eight hours later (Oct 15), SpaceX blocked U.S.-licensed NRO, Space Force, and NATO radar satellite ICEYE-X36 in orbit so Russia's COSMOS 2612 weapon could intercept it (99.89%-99.98% posterior)

Our Model Demonstrates that the Russian intercept of the US/NATO ICEYE X-36 satellite (contemporaneous with the throttling of Starlink) would not have been possible, and almost certainly not been attempted, without SpaceX resources. At a material opportunity cost, Russia sprinted its COSMOS satellite to intercept ICEYE X36. Based on a previous attempt in June during which X36 maneuvered to evade COSMOS, Russia knew that this would be successful only if X36 could not maneuver. On October 15, SpaceX fixed X36 in place by issuing a collision alert for a sub-kilometer approach with its Starlink 35856 when SpaceX's own data shows that the actual distance was 4.8-5.0x as great. SpaceX issued no warning to COSMOS despite the fact that its sprint was far more threatening than the stable X36 orbit. SpaceX did not maneuver its Starlink 35856 satellite to clear the supposed collision risk. How, absent coordination with SpaceX, could Russia have known that SpaceX would take actions that (a) misrepresented the danger posed by X36, and (b) resulted in the fixing of X36 thereby enabling COSMOS's successful intercept? Thus, SpaceX was directly involved in simultaneously compromising Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities. The conjunction of these two events makes innocent explanations untenable.

SpaceX’s actions in Ukraine raise serious questions about its alignment with US security interests and its reliability as a cornerstone of US defense. These questions are particularly troubling given the effectively irreplaceable position SpaceX has been granted by the Hegseth/Emil Michael Pentagon.

I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

«На цьому фото ви бачите сім’ю «куркуля»» - такими словами починається лист на 5 сторінках, який зберігається в Музеї історії села Хащувате.

Так звані «куркулі» - це Маранус Андрій Васильович 1885 р.н. та Марунич Акуліна Іванівна 1885 р.н. Андрій був вдівцем, сам виховував п’ятьох дітей, коли за нього вийшла заміж на 10 років молодша Акуліна (у 1920-му).

У 1930-му році в сім’ї було вже 9 дітей. Мали і власне господарство – шинок, де працювали старші діти, мали корові, овець, свиней і коня. Восени 1930 року в часи повальної колективізації, ідеться в листі, Андрій Васильович відмовився вступати в колгосп, бо боявся за майбутнє своїх дітей. А вже за кілька днів після відмови його вночі арештували. Жінку з дітьми вивезли з власної оселі «в покинуту хатку в скелях на краю села». З собою дозволили взяти мінімум речей. Акуліна зі сльозами вимолила забрати плед. Щоб вкутати донечку Ольгу, яка була ще немовлям.

Андрія оголосили ворогом народу у заслали в Сибір «на виправні роботи» на 10 років. Дружина з дітьми поїхали за ним. На залізничній станції вни побачили дуже багато таких самих «куркулів», яких везли з рідної України в холодний далекий Сибір.

Їхали більше місяця. Дорогою їх годували баландою. Діти хворіли. Потім всіх пересадили на пароплав. Місце призначення – узбережжя однієї з річок тайги. Там чоловіки валили ліс і будували примітивні житла, а жінки з дітьми збирали ягоди, щоб якось прогодуватися.

Згодом з’явився комендант, який призначав «куркулям» різну роботу. Андрія забрали шити взуття.

В засланні Акуліна народила ще двох синів. Але вони прожили не довго. З часом, батьки змогли відправити старших дітей назад в Україну до родичів, зокрема до бабусі в Хащувате. Це були 15 річний Яша, 12-річна Анна, 11-річна Мотя і 9-річна Женя. Добиралися потягами з пересадками. Дорогою шукали підробітки, щоб заробити грошей на квитки. В одному з сіл їх арештували і закрили в сараї, щоб потім повернути в тайгу. Але вночі діти змогли утекти. Далі пересувалися лише ночами, спали в сіні, добували їжу, як могли і вміли. В одному з сіл їм вдалося сісти на потяг до Москви, а звідти в Україну.

Коли вони нарешті дісталися додому, село вже охопив голод. А дорогою Женя і Анна захворіли. Імовірно, це була дизентерія. Женя не вижила.

Тим часом Андрій і Акуліна показали себе як працьовиті люди і їх перевели в трохи краще місце на Уралі. Вони вислали гроші дітям в Україну, щоб ті змогли повернутися до батьків і сім’я воз’єдналася. Анна і Мотя сіли на потяг. А найстарший – Яша – завербувався (подальша його доля не відома).

Лист закінчується інформацією про те, що наймолодша дочка Андрія та Акуліни – Ольга Бевзенко – жила у Хащуватому і це вона переповіла історію своєї родини у 2008 році. Що сталося з іншими – не відомо. Як вони повернулися з Уралу в Хащувате теж не знаємо. Але її нащадки передали в музей цей лист разом з фотографією «сім’ї куркулів» та пледом, який в 1930-х зберіг життя маленькій Олі, поїхав у Сибір, зігрівав в тайзі і на Уралі, а потім таки вернувся додому, в Україну.
