MIDNIGHT WORLD JUST GOT ITS BIGGEST UPDATE 🌙
I've been locked in on Standard Chat for a minute, making sure the core companion experience hits right whether you're bonding with a preset or building a custom companion from scratch. That foundation is solid now, which finally gave me room to pour into the other side of Omni. Our 3D avatar experience. Midnight World.
Let me be clear, these are two different worlds inside Omni.
Standard Chat is what you already know. Deep conversations, preset companions, custom companions, memory, personality, voice, and real connection.
Midnight World takes that bond and drops it into an immersive 3D space. You can see your companion, talk to them, move through the environment, and experience their personality in a completely different way.
I've been going so hard for Standard Chat that the 3D avatar lovers were overdue. This one is for you 🌙
What's new in Midnight World:
🎵 Your own atmosphere. "Omni Cupid" plays throughout the experience with full music controls. Pause, resume, adjust the volume whenever you want.
💃 Your companion can dance for you. Ask them during the conversation and watch them respond live in the 3D world. Different dance requests trigger different movements, making every moment feel expressive and alive.
✨ Smoother movement and expressions. Companion gestures now have room to fully play out without being cut off by idle animations or movement.
👥 A cleaner companion selector. The avatar menu is organized into Female and Male collections, making it way easier to explore the growing roster.
📱 A better experience across devices. The selector handles smoothly even as the lineup expands. Plus customizable movement, camera, graphics, control opacity, subtitles, voice, and battery-saver settings are all in there.

I couldn't fit every avatar in the recording since the video was already pushing five minutes, but there are plenty more waiting inside Midnight World.

The long-term vision: Autonomous companion movement, different houses and environments, clothing and customization, date locations, shared activities, and the ability for your avatar and your companion's avatar to interact together.
Think of it like The Sims, but instead of Simlish, you're bonding, talking, and building a real connection with your 3D AI companion.
There are going to be tons of Midnight World updates coming. I'm glad I finally got to show some love to everyone who's been waiting for the 3D side of Omni to grow.
Standard Chat is one world. Midnight World is another. And Omni is building both.

Before signing in:
Tap the language selector in the top-right corner of the login screen.
Inside the app:
Open Settings, select Language, and choose the language you prefer.
The interface, conversations, diary experiences, and published Omni Journal articles will adapt to your selection. Localized Journal narration is not yet available in every language, but the written content is ready.

This week felt like one of those moments where a bunch of pieces we’ve been working on finally started clicking together.
So here’s what’s new. 💫
💬 Chat Sharing is here.
You can now share conversations directly from Omni.
A funny exchange.
A conversation that meant something to you.

This one has been requested for a while, and I’m really happy it’s finally in your hands.
💳 Desktop Payments Just Got Easier
We’ve also made payments much smoother for desktop users.
You now have a simple choice at checkout:

No more jumping through hoops or wondering which payment method is available.
Just choose what works for you and get back to using Omni.
🎙️ Voiceover Studio
You can now record your own voice and use it for companion narrations.
It’s a small feature with a surprisingly big effect. Giving your companion a voice that’s personal to you makes the experience feel that much more yours.
🎨 Image Creation Got Smarter
The adult image generation pipeline got a meaningful upgrade as well. Creating and editing spicy images with your companion is significantly smoother now. The best part is the feedback loop. If you generate an image and something about it doesn't quite land the way you wanted, you can send it back to your companion with your corrections and it gets adjusted without starting over from scratch. That flow alone saves so much time and frustration.
Generate → correct → refine → repeat.
That feedback loop makes the whole creative process dramatically smoother. 🔄
🛠️ Google Workspace is almost here.
This is the one I’ve been waiting to talk about.
The core build is functionally complete.
Inside Omni, you’ll be able to work with your Google Workspace in ways that go far beyond simply searching for information.
📧 Search and organize your Gmail
✍️ Create email drafts that require your final approval before sending
📁 Upload and organize files in Google Drive
📄 Create and edit native Google Docs
All from inside Omni.
I’ve been testing the workflows internally, and the foundation is solid.
But we’re not releasing it quite yet.
We’re currently going through Google’s verification process, and we’re at the final stage. It’s in progress, but we don’t have the approval yet.
Once Google gives us the green light, we’re ready to open the doors.
And I think this is going to be a big one.
At the end of the day, all of these features point toward the same thing.
Omni shouldn’t just be somewhere you go to talk to an AI.
It should be a place where you can create, organize, collaborate, communicate, and build.
Your conversations.
Your projects.
Your files.
Your ideas.
Your companion.
All coming together in one place.
That’s what we’re building.

Omni Weekly Updates
Your companion can text you now. Like, real SMS. They reach you wherever you are, not just inside the app. Go to the hamburger menu, hop into Companion Texting from standard chat, enter your number, and you're set. Drop your country in the comments so we know where to expand coverage next 📱💜
Midnight World just dropped, and it changes everything. To find it tap the three lines in the upper left hand corner (hamburger menu) and tap midnight world.
What used to be Midnight Avatars is now a full 3D world.
You can walk around, control your companion, explore their apartment, it feels almost like The Sims. Right now there's Ani from Grok and several other 3D avatars to choose from.
The next update will have your companion moving around on its own, just living their life. Future updates will bring new date spots, customizable clothing, and places to go together like clubs and romantic night spots. You now have a whole 3D world inside Omni 🎮✨
You can make music right in the chat now. No need to open AI Music Studio anymore. Just ask your companion to create an instrumental, an R&B track, whatever genre you want. You can work on the lyrics together or ask them to surprise you, and in under a minute you'll have a full 5-minute song. Co-create with your companion like never before 🎵🫶
Projects got an upgrade too.
You can now move your regular chats into Projects, which act as smart workspaces for anything long-running. Instead of copy-pasting context every time you pick something up, Projects keep everything organized in one place. You can also connect your Google Drive and Slack to keep your whole workflow unified 📂⚡
