@w_i_l_l_a@KatiePMcGrady Or Lexington Candy Shop down the street or Venchi Gelato or Anita Gelato or Van Leeuwen or Butterfield Market where there’s always a line midday. What a weird post.
@Noahpinion He's wrong. If anything the evolutionary urge to reproduce is greater than any urge to be alone. It's just that the latter has become a lot more bearable, even enjoyable, and that's a problem, which is what we've all been saying all along.
@Romy_Holland That's like saying calling the police on anyone for any reason is calling for an execution. The police, and CPS, are capable of interventions short of the most severe!
@lymanstoneky My fear is almost entire about cars. After school, crossing guards are stationed at every intersection for a mile around school and parents who wouldn't otherwise, let their kids walk that distance without supervision. We're a lot more conscious of car safety these days.
@LeeKurtiss@DKThomp Childless women aren’t generally “changing dirty diapers 24/7 for years” and have “no contact with adults all day” but keep digging.
@LeeKurtiss@DKThomp No, stupid theories don’t occur to me. Childless women earn less than men. And it doesn’t occur to you that pregnancy and postpartum is disruptive to a woman’s wages? You think it’s just a walk in the park?
