Catholics are asking; if Vatican II values Gregorian chant so highly, why are Gregorian chants missing from our liturgies in most parishes around the world?

The answer is; because we stopped asking for it.

Introduce it to your choir. Teach them. Walk up to your priest and say you want to begin using it, especially at a more solemn Mass.

I don't think any priests will refuse. The music itself is beautiful, melodious, and deeply Catholic.
If we want it Gregorian Chants to return to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, then we have to bring it back, starting in our own parish. As simple as that.

Stop taking your marriage problems to social media. The internet may give you reactions, opinions and people taking sides, but it rarely gives a marriage real healing. And remember: the internet neither forgets nor forgives easily. What is posted in pain today can remain online long after the moment has passed and may one day return to haunt you, your spouse, or even your children.

Talk to your spouse. Pray about it. And when necessary, ask for help, there is no shame in seeking help when your marriage needs it. But seek that help in the right place: from someone mature, trustworthy, wise and discreet. Not every problem in your home needs an audience.

Day 6 – OPEN DOORS.

Some doors have remained closed for too long. Some opportunities have been delayed, and some prayers seem to be waiting for their appointed time. Today, through the intercession of Our Lady, Mother of Perpetual Help, we ask Jesus to open every door ordained by God for our lives.

And when the opportunities come, may we be ready to recognise them, embrace them and sustain them. May we not miss what we have prayed for.

Where our strength cannot take us, may grace speak for us. Where our names have been forgotten, may divine remembrance locate us.
