This is the condition of the federal road linking ekiti state with Ondo state at the border town of Irun-Akoko to Ikare-Akoko enroute kabba to Abuja. The federal controller of works for ondo and Ekiti state must be queried for not bringing federal government attention to this economically viable road. Over 200 heavy duty vehicles ply this road on daily basis.

This is the condition of Ikare-Akoko- Ogbagi Akoko - Irun Akoko Federal road along the ondo /ekiti states corridor . The towns along this corridor are currently cut off from both Ondo and Ekiti states. I don't know why the federal government is ignorant of the economic values of this road where over 500 trucks, coming or going to the Northern part from Lagos , ply on daily basis. It is sheer WICKEDNESS to award 27 roads across 15 states without considering this road.
