1980 Bakolori massacre:

That is a historically accurate and critical summary of the Bakolori massacre.

On April 28, 1980, heavily armed paramilitary police forces moved against the protesting farmers in Sokoto State.

The farmers had been demonstrating because the construction of the Bakolori Dam had displaced them, destroyed their fertile lands without adequate compensation, and blocked them from cultivating their crops for several seasons.

When the farmers set up blockades to prevent the operation of the dam, the government responded with violent force.

While official government reports at the time heavily underreported the casualties, independent accounts and eyewitnesses estimated that over 120 peasant farmers were killed, with many villages burned to the ground and thousands of people displaced.

Brush with fake toothpaste, use fake body cream, soap, skincare products, use fake red oil to cook, fry plantain that they hastened the ripening process with carbide, drink fake alcohol, eat plastic chips, use fake fufu and semo to eat soup made with fake seasonings, drink fake soda, use fake soy sauce to make stir-fry pasta and chicken curry sauce, wear fake clothes, fake perfumes, use fake insecticides at home, spend money on fake electronics and gadgets; and still have to deal with fake friends.

Do you know the worst one? Drugs that are supposed to protect you, there are now a lot of fake ones in pharmacies.

See the thing we are doing in Nigeria that we think we are living life. How life expectancy wan take reach 60 if we continue like this? We don’t even know how cooked we are now until a decade from now when we start facing the ripple effects of this fake epidemic.
