This International Literacy Day, we’re reminded that the right information can empower people to make choices that matter.
In Kajiado County, the Accelerate programme, together with local CBOs, is strengthening health literacy on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), family planning and maternal health.
Through community literacy sessions, young people, women and adolescent girls are gaining knowledge to make informed choices, understand their rights and seek timely care.
Because literacy is more than reading and writing, it is having the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices about your health and future.

At the heart of quality TB care is a simple goal: every person with TB gets the right support, at the right time.
Through the #TB programme, PS Kenya and the Nairobi County TB team conducted a joint supportive supervision visit at Kayole Soweto Dispensary to strengthen service delivery and improve TB data quality.
The visit helped identify gaps and strengthen systems for timely case detection, accurate reporting and better treatment follow-up.
Behind every case recorded is a person, a family and a community that deserves timely, quality care.
Stronger systems mean fewer patients missed, better support throughout treatment, and healthier communities.
Every step towards stronger TB care brings us closer to a future free from preventable TB illness.

Sometimes, the difference between attending training and truly being able to learn is something as basic as a meal.
At the #WellBeing Community Centre, we have begun providing meals to young people during training, helping them stay energized, focused, and engaged as they build practical skills, confidence, and pathways to a better future.
But this is about more than food. It is about removing one more barrier between a young person and opportunity, because every meal supports a bigger journey.
When young people are nourished, they concentrate better, create more, and dream bigger.
We are grateful to our donors for making this possible. We invite others to join us in investing in young people and the opportunities they are working hard to build.
Create an opportunity for a young person by partnering with us: https://t.co/oLtpU1QyTq

Data is only valuable when it informs action.
Through the #Accelerate Program, PS Kenya joined a bi-annual data review supported by KMET, bringing health teams and partners together to identify what’s working, and where communities still need support.
The review highlighted gaps in community outreach, health workers’ capacity and staffing, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.
Now, we’re turning these insights into action: strengthening community health, expanding outreach and equipping health workers to deliver better care.
Because behind every data point is a person, and every action should bring quality #RMNCAH services closer to those who need them most.

The fight against malaria doesn't begin at the hospital.
It begins at home.
This World Mosquito Day, let's remember that prevention is our strongest defence.
✔ Sleep under an insecticide-treated mosquito net.
✔ Keep your surroundings free of stagnant water.
✔ Seek testing early when fever strikes.
At PS Kenya, we're proud to support communities with effective malaria prevention solutions, including the newly launched SupaNetPlus, because protecting families starts long before a mosquito bites.
Together, we can build a healthier, malaria-free Kenya.

What does it take for a young person to feel ready for the future?
Sometimes, it starts with having the right conversations and the opportunity to build practical skills.
In Sero, the #A360BridgeToAccelerate Programme brought together 31 adolescent girls and 7 boys for an age-appropriate mentorship session covering #SRHR, economic empowerment, and financial literacy.
The session gave young people space to ask questions about their health, explore practical income-generating activities, and think about how financial skills can support greater independence and future opportunities.
For #A360, creating these connections matters. Young people need more than access to information. They need spaces where they can build confidence, develop practical skills, and see possibilities for their lives beyond the challenges they face today.
A healthier future is also one where young people have the skills, confidence, and opportunities to shape their own path.

What if one visit to a health facility could address more than one health need?
In Kilifi County, the #TikoTake2 campaign is encouraging young people to make the most of every visit by accessing more than two services when they visit participating Tiko partner facilities.
Launched at St. Andrew’s Primary School, the campaign also highlighted the role of the Tunza Network and #PSKenya in connecting communities to quality, accessible health services.
The initiative supports efforts to address the triple threat of **HIV, unintended pregnancy, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV)** among adolescents and young people by encouraging them to access the information, services, and support they need during every interaction with the health system.

Behind every photograph is a story.
Today, we celebrate the people and moments that make our work meaningful: the mothers seeking care, the young people making choices about their futures, the health workers serving their communities, and the communities at the heart of what we do.
At #PSKenya, photography helps us document these moments, amplify voices, and show the impact of health interventions where they matter most.
This #WorldPhotographyDay, we celebrate the power of an image to tell a story, inspire action, and remind us why better health and wellbeing matter for everyone.

Four remarkable days come to a close.
#IMNHC2026 has been a gathering of the bold, the committed, and the deeply caring. From the opening session to this afternoon's closing plenary, the thread running through every conversation has been the same.
Mothers and babies deserve better, and we, as a global community, have both the knowledge and the responsibility to make it happen. As @fnoluga , Principal Secretary State Department of Medical Service put it, “The International Maternal Newborn Health Conference 2026 ends with one call, moving forward together to do the work.” @alignmnh @Jhpiego@gatesfoundation@UNFPA@UNICEF@MOH_Kenya
Reducing newborn mortality requires a full continuum of care, from pre-pregnancy to postnatal. #IMNCH2026 has brought stakeholders together to align on tools and resources that work.@alignmnh
