Delighted to lecture on Enterprise Risk Management at the University of Portsmouth. Shared practical insights with the MSc students on how successful companies turn risk into resilience & value creation. Shaping future leaders in GRC. #ERM#GRC
Africans in diaspora should not only send money home.We should send standards home too.
How we keep time.
How we honour contracts.
How we document work.
How we build institutions that don't depend on one “strong man”
Remittances can relieve pressure.Standards can change a country
@akgage@damben1 Guys. I've been procrastinating for quite a while... I'll connect with you online for some rounds soon. Got FC26 but played it just once.
One thing I’m seeing in practice:
many organisations invest heavily in detection, but very little in limiting blast radius when something gets through.
AI can mutate malware endlessly.
What it can’t bypass are well-designed limits on access, movement and exfiltration.

Is there anyone here that lives in Portsmouth and is interested in playing tennis a couple of times a week regularly?
I need a playing/practice partner.
NB: I've got a private tennis club subscription that would cover the person.

Thank you, @ForbesTechCncl . I appreciate the opportunity to contribute this perspective. As technology scales across identity, AI, and data-driven systems, governance by design is becoming essential to building trust that stands up to regulatory and societal scrutiny.

Resilience isn’t built in panic.
It’s built quietly in practice, long before pressure arrives.
Systems perform best when humans stop fighting them. (4/4)
I once spent an entire round trying to fix my golf swing mid-game.Every hole got worse.
Too much thinking. Too many adjustments. No rhythm.
The harder I tried to correct it, the more unstable things became, not because the swing was broken, but because consistency disappeared(1/4
What they actually need is a stable swing.
Clear fundamentals.
Repetition.
Discipline.
Learning loops that actually close.
Stability compounds faster than overcorrection. (3/4)
