@calvinokello4 I think this was unavoidable since odinga Must get support from his own president a situation which necessitated this unconditional closeness. We can't call it a handshake but marriage of convenience
@MigunaMiguna You thought a Lizard in Canada could become a crocodile in Kenya? You've since become immensely irrelevant. I slightly agree with you on destruction of property.
@citizentvkenya@KoinangeJeff Malala hasn't said a thing here. KK government has left Azimio with no choice but to involve in demonstrations. The 3 arms of the government are ruled the executive which has also proved to be quite arrogant and lies to everyone.
@ahmednasirlaw@TheStarKenya The health CS is a mistake. She has learnt to lie from the prof and author of lies. NHIF failing to work is manifestation of eschatology
@citizentvkenya I agree with the funding but in terms of quality, the government should closely look at how the management in public universities. More money more corruption. I was there as a student leader. The problem with the public universities is mismanagement
Prof. Robert Gateru: It’s time to avoid the dichotomy between public and private universities. The new government funding model is a good step to address the actual cost of educating students because we universities have been accused of producing half-baked graduated #NewsNight
@citizentvkenya@TrevorOmbija Somebody who chooses a private university is able. Remember there are other costs other than tuition fees. The hostels and other facilities at the private universities are quite expensive . On this I agree with the government.
@citizentvkenya@TrevorOmbija The sponsored students shouldn't choose, remember the government must also strengthen the universities by giving them more students and more funds. I can't be poor and have choices at the same time.
Dr Vincent Gaitho – Sec. Gen., NAPUK: The new government funding model reminds private universities that they came in as alternatives to offer higher education. The gov’t has done a good thing in managing how to fund universities #NewsNight@TrevorOmbija
@citizentvkenya@TrevorOmbija I think the private universities have exhibited "cartelism" over the past years. They're given many students by KUCCPS , infact more than some public universities. So the government is just right
