WALK IN THE SPIRIT

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16 KJV)

The decisions you make in your soul can either be determined by the lust of the flesh or by your spirit. If you decide whether or not you are going to pray, that decision is either determined by your flesh or by your spirit. If you decide whether you are going to do the right thing or not, that decision is either determined by your flesh or by your spirit. The body will act on the decision that you have made in your soul.

Galatians 5:17-18 says, “…the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” (KJV) He is not saying that your flesh is battling with the Holy Spirit, he is talking about your flesh battling your spirit for control. Your flesh is against your spirit and your spirit is against your flesh. Walking in the flesh means walking according to information that the soul has picked from the world.

Walking in the spirit on the other hand is walking according to information that the soul has picked from your spirit. Your spirit cannot be corrupted because he is one with the Spirit of God. The day you got born again, you became one spirit with the Lord. Your spirit can never feel like sinning, if it did, that would suggest that God is conceiving an idea to sin which is not possible. If a Christian sins, it is because he is being led by the flesh and not by the spirit.

Yield yourself to your spirit and you will automatically do the right things. Glory to God!

CONFESSION
I walk in the Spirit always. I am yielded to my spirit who is one with the Spirit of the Lord. I manifest the fruit of the spirit which is love. I am full of joy and peace. I am patient and kind. I am good and full of faith. I am meek, gentle and self-controlled. I do the right things at the right time and in the right place by the guidance of the Spirit. Hallelujah!
