LASTMA UNVEILS 3367 TOLL-FREE SHORT-CODE HOTLINE TO STRENGTHEN EMERGENCY RESPONSE, ENHANCE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTE ACCOUNTABILITY ACROSS LAGOS.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has officially unveiled its new 3367 Toll-Free Short-Code Hotline, a strategic initiative designed to fortify emergency response operations, optimize traffic management efficiency and deepen public participation in the administration of road transportation across Lagos State.
The newly introduced short-code represents a significant migration from the Agency's former long-service code platform to a more accessible, technologically advanced and citizen-oriented communication framework. Available toll-free on MTN, Etisalat (T2) and Glo networks, the platform enables millions of subscribers to report traffic-related emergencies and incidents without financial burden.
SANWO-OLU HAILS POLICE ONSLAUGHT AGAINST CRIMINALS
OPERATION "KOSAYE" 🔥🔥🔥 YIELDS RESULTS AS POLICE ARREST 88 SUSPECTS, RESCUE 5 KIDNAPPED VICTIMS
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has hailed security agencies on the ongoing “massive onslaught “ against criminals.
Operation "Kosaye", coordinated security crackdown across Ogun and Lagos states, has yielded remarkable results:
. 88 suspects arrested;four dead in gun duel with operatives;
. five kidnap victims rescued; and
. cache of arms and ammunition
recovered.
“We will continue to work with the police and other security agencies to ensure that our state is safe and secure for residents and visitors,” Mr Sanwo-Olu said.
“We appreciate the huge efforts of the police as directed by Inspector-General Tunji Disu, in arresting the suspects and the co-operation of our neighbors, Ogun State. This is the way it should be,” he added.
There has been a strong police presence in Lagos and Ogun states. Lagos and Ogun police commands have displayed recovered weapons and paraded suspects— a clear message to criminal elements that they will have no space in the two states.
Operation "Kosaye" (no space for criminals) reflects a renewed, no-nonsense push to dismantle kidnapping rings, armed robbery gangs, and other violent crimes networks in the Southwest.
Operatives are combing the forest boundaries between Lagos and Ogun States along J3/ J4 axis of Ogbere in Ogun State as part of the operations.
The Police say they remain resolute in ensuring there is no hiding place for criminals, especially kidnappers, through intelligence-led operations and sustained security efforts.
Mr Sanwo-Olu urges residents of Lagos to keep assisting the police with information on the hideouts of criminals. “We will do our best to ensure that our law enforcement agencies are well motivated through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF),”he said.

Police Pescue 5 Person's Aong Ogere Axis Ogun State
5 person's abducted by suspected kidnappers along the ogere axis of Ogun State have been rescued in a joint operation by Lagos - Ogun states police command.
Describing the operation as a demonstration of effective inter-state collaboration, the Commissioners of Police for Lagos and Ogun States vowed to sustain coordinated offensives against criminal gangs, stressing that there would be no hiding place for kidnappers and other violent offenders.
The Police also appealed to residents to remain security conscious by reporting suspicious persons and movements promptly, maintaining that timely information from members of the public remains critical to intelligence gathering and crime prevention.
I had Bola Tinubu's manifesto in my possession since 24 October 2022.
I read it for the 1st time on 25th October 2022.
I read all 80 something pages in 1 sitting.
My conclusion at the time - "if he does even half of all these things, I will support him"
Its 2026, he's done almost everything.
What I know;
- The President wants to centralize the revenue of the country such that everyone knows what enters the treasury with bodies like Customs, NPA and other MDAs streamlined for efficiency purpose.
- The President wants to clean the data system such that every individual has a unique identity number to ensure there is maximum transparency in all individual and collective dealings.
- The President wants to create a credit-based economy such that people do not have to stress to afford basic things in life.
- The President wants to take power down to the grassroots via the local government such that enough revenues are pushed directly to the people without the governor’s usual hindrance.
- The President wants to activate a national ID card that allows the FG to intervene and interact with the citizens directly thereby removing all forms of corruption that made programs such as NPOWER, Tradermonie etc a failure.
- The President wants to create interventions such as unemployment benefits, direct cash transfer etc to lift as many people as possible out of poverty.
- The President wants to create a sustainable agricultural system whereby all machineries will be produced in Nigeria with liaison offices in all the 774 local governments where farmers can be trained, equipped and given opportunities to sell their farm products.
Among many other things, great deals are in place and the President means well for the country.
The remodeling of the economy is not going to be easy but Nigeria will emerge strongly from all of these.
We will be there👍🥂.
I have today signed the NIMC Act 2026 into law.
For nearly twenty years, Nigeria’s identity system operated under a law written for a different era. That era is over.
This new Act gives our nation a modern, secure and digital identity framework fit for the Nigeria we are building, a Nigeria on the path to becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
Under one month of this new administration, we have secured the reinstatement of 6 Suspended LAUTECH students and 6 suspended FUOYE STUDENTS, including the suspended FUOYE president…
It’s a Blessed ERA 💯👌✌️✌️
Police story….
This is the picture of constable Umaru Tsamiya who was traveling on a 9:11 truck as attachment in 1994 (32 years ago)on his annual leave on permission to Sokoto: Tsamiya came across an accident scene of a bullion van filled with cash in Kebbi;the driver of the bullion van and 4 police escorts were all wounded, dazed and some dead…..
Story continues 👇🏾
Today in Ekiti, I met the FUOYE SUG President Comr ADIO.
I stand in Solidarity with Comr Adio, and until victory is achieved, nothing shall discourage us.
ALUTA CONTINUA✌️✌️💯💯
I am pissed, Dangote recently said he imports workers from India because Nigerians don’t know how to operate his plant systems. I need him to say that again, slowly.
Me and 7 of my guys use and chew these exact softwares daily. Let me break down what runs Dangote Cement and who actually knows this stack and flex my knowledge a bit:
SAP ERP is the brain of the entire operation. It tracks every bag of cement from raw limestone to the truck leaving the gate. Inventory, procurement, finance, payroll, all of it running in one system. We use it.
SAP HANA is the database engine under SAP. It processes millions of records in real time so management can make decisions without waiting 4 hours for a report. It is the reason their finance team is not still using Excel. We use it.
SAP Ariba handles procurement. Every vendor, every supply contract, every purchase order flows through Ariba before a kobo leaves the company. We use it.
OpenText ECM manages documents. Engineering drawings, compliance certificates, invoices, all stored, tracked and retrieved digitally. Without it they are drowning in paper. We use it.
AutoCAD designs the physical plant. Every kiln, conveyor belt and silo you see at Obajana was drawn on AutoCAD before a single brick was laid. We use it.
Nutanix is the infrastructure layer. It is what keeps SAP HANA running without crashing. The server backbone behind everything. We know it.
Freshdesk manages internal and customer support tickets. Azure SQL stores structured data. Veritas NetBackup makes sure nothing gets lost if a server dies.
We know all of it.
So when Dangote says he cannot find Nigerians who understand his systems, the question is not whether we exist. The question is whether he is looking, or whether he already decided where to look before he started.
@PIUSOTSEOGBU@Letter_to_Jack Preventing and not allowing that kind of video is a Major step toward Preventing. A proper report from tik tok can instantly slove this issue
This thing reminded me of a time before I joined Emirates airline some years ago. We invited one of their executive to Lagos. I was working at Arik Air at the time. It happened that the day the EK guy came to visit Lagos airport, the internet was down and the entire airport immediately moved to manual boarding passes.
The EK man was like 'WOW'!!! He was blown away at the efficiency of Nigerian aviation. He said when this happens in Dubai at that time, the entire flights get delayed because they were not trained to handle this kind of operations. He went back to Dubai to tell them how much he learnt from his time in Nigeria.
When I joined Emirates, we started a project called 'Offline DCS'. This was a direct response to operational efficiency when things like this happens at the airport. So, if and when the systems break down, no flights get delayed. Everything continues as normal.
