It was fun whille it lasted,, Cogno fought so well but credit goes to Kane..the way he ran from behind of that defender and positioned himself well for that header
All sports team are doing their best and the people of India are recognizing them. You know why? Because they are not blaming cricket or bcci.
But on the other hand, Indian football.....
People mock Kemar Roach for playing since the dinosaur age. They have no idea what that actually took.
Kemar Roach has done something for West Indies that sounds ordinary, until you remember the environment he did it in. Because the truth is, he has done something almost no current West Indies player even thought was possible.
Just staying a consistent Test cricketer for West Indies is a challenge in itself, given the financial and infrastructure mess the board is in right now. So to pick up 300 Test wickets, and pour blood and sweat into it year after year, is beyond impressive. And Roach did both, with genuine passion in every single game.
People troll him for playing since the dinosaur age. But that is the whole point, isn't it? Imagine playing this long, being the senior pro, and still walking out as the best bowler in your team. That takes something extraordinary.
Well done, great man.
From Tear away quick who hit Ponting on the helmet multiple times at the WACA in 2009 to then a nearly life threatening road accident
The way he has continued to reinvent himself is very inspirational
Zimbabwe cricket fans can be so toxic, when you are a black cricketer from dusty old Highfields with links to Takashinga but this is how you shut your critics up, BLOCK THE NOISE and let your bat do the talking.
Well done Innocent Kaia, the whole Prince Edward family is proud!
Took a hattrick in 2011 wc and fast forward 15 years , he is still going strong
Insane longevity for a fast bowler that too in Windies cricket when no one wants to play test cricket.
.@benstokes38, I’ve always admired the way you brought energy into the game. Your positivity, your fearless intent, and the way you shaped moments under pressure stood out every time you walked in. As an all-rounder, you’ve been one of England’s finest, and as a captain, your bold tactics and instinctive reading of the game added a new edge to your side.
Wishing you the very best for what comes next. Though knowing you, staying away from the middle might be the hardest part. Good luck for your next innings!
Big up to Kemar Roach today. Early in his career I thought he looked like the next 300 wkt test bowler. Then there was a time with injuries, and the car accident etc that I thought he might not get there. So happy he has showed the character, skill and ability to reinvent himself and show his greatness.
