Today the @Roads_KE held a thanksgiving and prayer session in Nairobi led by PS Eng. Joseph Mbugua, bringing together staff and reps from road sector agencies to reflect on achievements made during the year and renew a shared commitment to unity, hope, and service delivery.
To be great at what you do, you need to have someone better (PLUS) that you can learn from, someone lesser (MINUS) that you can teach and someone EQUAL that you can challenge yourself against.
PLUS, MINUS, EQUAL

Emotional moment as Winnie Odinga presents her late father’s hat to Mama Ida Odinga after arriving in the country from India.
The whole World is mourning the People's President.
It's healthy to be called antisocial by lower vibrational people. That means you know energy transfer is real so you protect your energy by refusing to lower your standards, match their energy, and shrink yourself to fit in. You are vibrationally selective, not antisocial.
Just imagine that you are the only rich person in your family and, God forbid, you have a stroke. What will happen to you? That stroke may strike out not only your wealth but your health. And your siblings will hardly be able to help because they are all poor. It has happened before. Think about that. Let it push you to help them. Send them to school. Pay for them to learn a skill. Sponsor their japa plans. Establish a business for them. You will also benefit. Because one tree cannot make a forest, and one car is insufficient to be a convoy.

President Trump's suspension of foreign aid to many countries, especially African nations, is good. It will force us, as Black Africans, to introspect, and by looking inward, we will find homegrown solutions to our challenges. Necessity is the mother of invention!
It is like refusing to stop breastfeeding your child or constantly giving your baby a feeding bottle. That child will hardly get weaned and mature.
President Trump and the United States are focused on their own domestic issues in an America-first policy. We, too, as Africans, should have that Africa-first laser focus. But when we have visa-free access for Europeans, Americans, and Canadians but place heavy visa burdens on our fellow Africans and trade with other races more than we trade with ourselves, we should not complain when Trump does what he has to do.
Annually, the African continent earns approximately $3.2 billion from coffee and cocoa exports, mainly to Europe, while Germany makes $4 billion reexporting refined coffee and cocoa imported from Africa.
That is how they get the aid they give us.
Let us, as Africans, stop begging and start bagging our resources so that we, too, can also be bragging, like Trump.

Imagine walking into a showroom along Kiambu Road. You're shown various cars, find one you like, and confirm the price is within your budget. After starting the engine and inspecting the vehicle for any visible defects, you sign the contract and drive away with your car.
The next day, the car stalls on the road. When you contact the showroom, they refer you to a clause in the contract stating that you inspected and tested the car before buying it.
To make matters worse, a mechanic later informs you that the car had been involved in an accident, a fact that was never disclosed.
This is the situation my client is currently facing.
Once again, it's an opportunity for us to put the law to test.
If you think you have Trauma, science says it didn't start with you.
Unhealed trauma doesn't just disappear—it gets passed down through DNA as self-sabotage, cycles of failure, and toxic relationships.
Here's what science says about generational trauma (and how to break the cycle):🧵
Keep things private because there are people out there waiting to sabotage your progress. Often it’s not your enemies you have to worry about but those who smile to your face but have different intentions behind your back. Be mindful.
The Hillside Endarasha Academy fire tragedy is not only tragic but a grim reminder of a past riddled with deadly school infernos.
After the Kyanguli and Nyeri high school fire incidents that claimed so many lives, the government introduced a raft of measures among them, proper fire escape regulations and insisted that a school matron sleeps among the pupils/students and that no dormitory should remained locked from the outside.
But the government overlooked the critical role students played in the fires; in the case of Kyanguli, parents paid to have students turned arsonists get freed despite causing the fires that consumed the souls of their colleagues
It is fun to say, "We shall all die,"
Until your parent or close relative or even yourself walks into a hospital because of an intolerable headache or an insufferable abdominal pain, and you are told,
"It is diabetes. You will have to swallow these for life,"
"It is haemorrhoids. We will have to cut them."
"It is colon cancer. We will take you through 8 cycles of chemotherapy."
"It is gastritis. You will have to swallow these kits."
It is right from here that:
Your savings will be drained.
Your mind will be depressed.
Your life will be distressed.
It is from here that it will occur to you that your greatest possession is not your car, or your job or your house,
— Your greatest possession is your health.
Go to any hospital today. Those patients have only one prayer,
"I pray for the well-being of my body."
So, take care of your health.
• Eat a healthy diet.
• Embrace physical activities.
• Have a purposeful rest.
• Live a righteous life.

Maybe someone never told you this,
But let me say it,
YOU ARE A L O N E.
Do you want to find out?
Lose a job,
or,
Go broke,
or,
Go to prison,
You will find out that you are alone.
Now, start working hard & focus on your purpose. No one will do it for you.

Noah Bush, 8 years old, was found drowned in Jesup, Georgia in May 2024. He went out to play with neighborhood kids & never came home. After finding his body in a small body of water the sheriff’s office immediately announced it was accidental & for two months they did nothing.
