#GratitudeTuesday AND a Flashback to 3 years ago today 6/9/17 and a massive dose of Canine Medicine from my sweet girl , Lucy. as I lay in a hospital bed recovering from my stroke ( first time we had seen each other in months. ❤️)
Now that's a Community Note.
My favorite part is how many people have said to me "he should have talked to his comms person." Yeah...that's him standing next to him. This is the plan they came up with during the 8 hour flight to Hawaii. Lie and be a dick.
I wonder how she’s going to do at her next performance review? Everyone on that group chat should be handed a banker’s box and told to take their shit and get out.
I have really enjoyed my 14 years on this platform back before the oligarch bought and ruined it, back when it was still called Twitter. I met some very cool people, some friends IRL, But it’s time for me to explore greener pastures , er Bluer Sky’s. I can find me there
How soon until they post State Troopers at their sate borders, airports and bus stations, to administer pregnancy tests? Under His eye. Like the Produce inspection stops on the AZ/CA border
A Democrat was in the White House when my family was sent to the internment camps in 1941. It was an egregious violation of our human and civil rights.
It would have been understandable if people like me said they’d never vote for a Democrat again, given what had been done to us.
But being a liberal, being a progressive, means being able to look past my own grievances and concerns and think of the greater good. It means working from within the Democratic party to make it better, even when it has betrayed its values.
I went on to campaign for Adlai Stevenson when I became an adult. I marched for civil rights and had the honor of meeting Dr. Martin Luther King. I fought for redress for my community and have spent my life ensuring that America understood that we could not betray our Constitution in such a way ever again.
Bill Clinton broke my heart when he signed DOMA into law. It was a slap in the face to the LGBTQ community. And I knew that we still had much work to do. But I voted for him again in 1996 despite my misgivings, because the alternative was far worse. And my obligation as a citizen was to help choose the best leader for it, not to check out by not voting out of anger or protest.
There is no leader who will make the decision you want her or him to make 100 percent of the time. Your vote is a tool of hope for a better world. Use it wisely, for it is precious. Use it for others, for they are in need of your support, too.
Lauren Boebert appeared to fondle her date's penis inside a packed Denver theater as she put his hand on her breasts prior to being kicked out, newly released security footage shows. https://t.co/zq3WmqJpKh
Both Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton and former defense secretary Mark Esper say that Trump was planning to pull out of NATO in a second term.
Make no mistake about it: if Trump gets back to the WH, he’ll try to pull the US out of the most powerful military alliance in history, fulfilling one of Putin’s main goals.
A vote for Trump is a vote for a weaker and more isolated America
