i’m just saying this in general but life as a fan will be so much more fun and enjoyable if you genuinely do it out of love and support without feeling entitled to any form of privilege. if you do something for your favourite artists expecting to always get something in return, then you’ll never be satisfied with anything. support shouldn’t /feel/ transactional, it should feel light, fun, and energising. of course, it’s natural to hope to be noticed or to receive something in return, but it shouldn’t stem from entitlement. we’re here to celebrate their wins, enjoy their work, and be a part of this journey together. if being a fan makes you lose empathy or respect, then maybe it’s time to take a step back and re-evaluate your intentions.
