Joy is not a momentary emotion. It is a deep sense of pleasure and happiness rooted entirely in who Jesus is, standing firm regardless of external circumstances.

Discipleship means daily choosing Jesus over ourselves. It is learning to deny our desires, take up our cross, and follow Him in suffering and love. When we surrender our life to Him, we find the abundant, eternal life He promises. Amen. Happy Sunday!
