@Shumbakadzi11 the husband/father distinction is real and matters, but it matters most when the harm to the partner is limited or historical. The more severe and ongoing the harm to the mother, the less the distinction protects the “good father” claim.

@Shumbakadzi11 I think the question specifically means terrible in terms of a serial cheater or abuser. I don’t think you can harm your partner and still expect that partner to show up fully for your child I don’t think you can hurt someone like that and still expect the child to be ok.
