PRO-DUTERTE VLOGGER ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL DRUGS

Pro-Duterte vlogger Joselito Peruelo, also known as “Julia Peruelo TV,” an LGBT content creator and political activist and his live-in partner Christian Tolentino were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Magtiayon, Brgy 10, Bacolod City on Tuesday, August 25.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Island Region tagged both suspects as alleged notorious drug pushers, who reportedly yielded 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams valued at P340,000, and an improvised tooter.

Peruelo was seen on video yelling at local media, denying the allegation against him and his companion, saying they never engage in illegal drug activity. "We do not deserve this," Peruelo said to local reporters of K5 News FM Bacolod.
