My bank called me at work.
They asked if I had withdrawn $8,000 that morning.
I said no.
They asked if someone else had access to my account.
“No.”
They froze everything.
Then the banker said,
“There’s something else.”
“What?”
“The withdrawal was made at a branch.”
“I wasn’t there.”
“I know.”
“Why?”
She lowered her voice.
“Because the security footage shows you.”
I laughed nervously.
“That’s impossible.”
She sent me the footage.
I opened it…
I’ve been trading memes for 2 years now
Here’s 5 things I watch out for to help me avoid rugs
- “I’m bagworking this coin”
- “Last one ran to 50m this should see 1m”
- “I was the dev of x coin, now I’m running it properly…”
- “how has this never been run properly…”
- “Elon should interact soon…”
- “smart money is in at 30k”
You see coins linked to tweets that start with this
Just run
This video will guide you on how to set up your DEX Screener so it can help you find high quality small cap tokens early.

Here's something nobody tells you about trenching.
Spend 5-8 hours watching every coin that bonds.
Watch the ones that hit $20k -$30k and instantly die.
Track the wallets involved. Then do it again. And again.
Eventually your brain starts recognizing the patterns.
You'll stop falling for every flashy chart because you've seen that exact setup fail hundreds of times.
Then, when the real runner appears, it feels different.
You can't explain it at first, you just know.
Pattern recognition is what separates traders from exit liquidity.
If I told you " Go to @GeckoTerminal and find a 10x"
I can guarantee that you wouldn't know what it looked like
But what if I told you that these coins all followed the same pattern to 10X
- $catecoin: 10.5M ATH
- $ket: 18.9M ATH
- $febu: 9.3M ATH
what if I showed you the mechanics behind coins like these are repeatable and consistent and you too can understand the world beyond daily losses
here's your deep dive:
1. The first thing you'll need to take note of is that trading is more psychological than logical
Its not as simple as "buy here and sell higher"
For most, it's more like:
buy here
"oh no there's a wallet with 6% in, let me sell"
then you sell
the coin does 5x
and you think to yourself "maybe 6% bundled wallets aren't that bad"
then the next time you see 6% bundled wallet, you holdand
then it rugs.
that's what memecoin trading looks like for most traders
but I'm here to tell you it can only get better when you set the rules for yourself regardless of what the market decides
I want you to picture yourself in a monk's pose with quiet steady breaths.
Heavy rain falls but it doesn't change your stance, there's even flies all around you but still your pose doesn't change
your monk's pose is to first decide what your trade looks like -- not the market, not your friends
you need to picture every single facet of what makes a coin 10x and decide that that's the only thing you buy when you get into the market
2. When I go to Geckoterminal and click new pools:
- I want to pick new coins with market caps between 30k and 100k so I use the mcap filter for 15,000 min & 100,000 max
- I want to make sure these are values for coins that have migrated from pumpfun version 1
- next I pick coins I know are unique, coins based on viral TikTok trends are overused so you'll have to take your time to find a very popular one, tech based coins have known to be easy coins to do 10x because there revolutionary tech everywhere. I remember a coin based on a tech that sells reflected sunlight. These kinds of technologies don't stay hidden for long.
3. You always have to make a choice.
A coin based on a popular meme with 5 wallets that each hold 10% clusters but with 500k volume in 30 minutes is WORSE than a coin based on a fork of truth terminal with 2% bundle left.
- There's a yellow bar of notification that gecko terminal uses to alert you of high supply and low liquidity risks, those are very important.
4. Remember that you also have to make your brain a catalog for coins that have done 10x. Out of the 3 coins I mentioned, feb and KET followed the tech pattern. It's been proven at this point that safe 10X bets are most likely tech coins because it's easy to see effort put into websites.
Volume is also another indicator that differentiates 10x coins from others. A coin with good narrative but no volume will die quick. especially when it doesn't break the 100k market cap zone. You can argue that sometimes good things aren't recognised by the masses, but make sure it doesn't take too long, because a major part of trading is also knowing when to give up (but we'll talk about that next time)
- bundled coins are the bane ofmy existence. I don't care if the coin has 1m in volume if it's bundled it'll always retrace badly, I check bundles with Bubblemaps(.)io ( 2% is my limit) I've lost enough salamis breaking this rule.
- I avoid coins that have been PvPd. this means coins with different Cash but the same lores and pictures. they do them when the lores behind the coins are very obvious till it becomes a battle of the one that outlasts
5. I know what quick flips look like and I avoid them like the plague.
They're usually a fork of the name of a coin that has done 10x or something that just sounds equally as annoying.
I don't trade them because I've made money, I avoid them because it's so easy to build bad habits when you only do quick flips. You find yourself selling coins you're supposed to hold longer and revenge trading just to make back something you lost.
6. Much of what hits 1M mcap is what a collective group of people have chosen to like at a particular point. A few weeks ago, there was a coin called flea that hit 900k simply because it was a cartoon from claynosaurs- a crypto project that had just gotten filming rights on Amazon. Anybody and their grandmother could understand that tip of thing could do numbers, all they needed to watch was their entry. I had a 30k entry and sold at 300k, volume was so good that day.
a recent example was buying dream at 17k, it had 1% bundles and was based on a prompt Elon musk posted 10 hours earlier. with a website and anX account set up it already had the making of a coin that would do well.
in summary, these are just explanations of the rules I set for myself overtime that have helped me make money
The more selective you are, there more time you likely have to spend looking at coins, the more your brain filters coins that appeal to these rules.
not sure how you can hate the little gremlin sitting on his pc all day making a yearly salary once a week, most people will hate on the guys sitting on a trading terminal staring at their monitor all day but just like in anything, nothing comes easy and hard work will always pay off.
Don’t listen to lazy bums who complain about others working hard
cto a coin w/ a great meme where you have > 50% of the supply
incentivize token holders to buy & hold w/ shared collective belief/target in mind + adding buyside support to chart
slowly airdrop your portion of the supply to ppl who add most demand to the coin through making content / marketing / building products around the coin
expand outreach to channels outside of purely CT by utilizing IRL network
incentivize influential people on social media outside of X through token bounties & other rewards
time the bottom of the bull market starting while all other majors start going up & ppl start getting risk on at the same time
build real token sinks around the coin through partnerships w/ other protocols & brands
scale personal brand to have most impact through well orchestrated media and educational content around markets
bullpost w/ the bros
