This week on Curater, Glauber found a lot of typographic work. Nonplace Studio designed an identity for the 13th Seoul Media City Biennale. It uses radiant halos and good color choices. Glauber also highlighted Jannis Kounellis's "Alfabeto" series. These paintings take letters out of their normal context, making you look at their shapes.
He also curated the Mezzadro Stool from 1957. The Castiglioni brothers made it from a tractor seat, metal, and wood.
This week on Curater, Rodrigo Branco's paintings showed up. He paints over images, faces out of focus. Andrea Martínez shared stone fragments and photographs. There's a subtle tension between what the camera sees and what's actually there. Mario also connected this to Cait Elizabeth's collages on old book covers, made with paper scraps and vintage cookbook pages.
Felbm's instrumental music was also curated. It has a lot of texture and sounds like natural rhythms. The artwork for Felbm's record is by Joost Stokhof. The physical vinyl release for two EPs has inverted front covers.
Another look at the week's curations.
This week on Curater, Gizem Akdag's AI-generated images showed up. Glauber noted her distinct style. Love Hultén's custom music instruments also appeared, featuring thick wood cases and minimal interfaces. Glauber curated these.
Jaq Chartier's paintings, with their bright colors and repeated simple forms, were curated by Anton. Her work often mixes vivacity with repetition.
There was a connection this week between Akdag’s visual explorations and the precise design of Hultén’s instruments. Both artists have a clear, recognizable aesthetic.
A look back at what caught people's attention.
This week on Curater, Rafael Gonzalez's film photography of skateboarders stood out. There's an energy to the way he captures movement and body position. Glauber highlighted these shots, focusing on the composition.
Glauber also looked at furniture design, specifically the Bragadier Sofa from 1977 by Cini Boeri for Knoll. The design is bold. He noted how some furniture that looks uncomfortable can be the opposite. This connected with his other curation of Cyrus Ardalan's interior architecture, which mixes different textures. Mason also curated a sofa concept this week, a lightweight frame with thick cushions.
Fadri Lorenzo's sketches were another highlight. Glauber pointed to the wiggly lines and mixed pencil techniques that give the pieces their character.
This week on Curater, Mario highlighted Cait Elizabeth's collages. She takes paper scraps and vintage cookbook pages, things she finds cute, and puts them on old hardcover books. Mario also connected her work to Jean Edelbluth's collages, and Eduardo Recife's "Greed," an artwork that inspired him.
Glauber shared a chill bossa nova remix of Otto's song "Bob." He heard the track while watching the "Senna" documentary. Glauber also curated the "Senna" film itself, noting Ayrton Senna's competitive spirit and persistence.
He also brought in Cyrus Ardalan's architecture, a project with mixed textures and interesting interiors.
This week on Curater, Glauber found a song that clears his head, a track he'd saved a decade ago without realizing it. He also pointed out a listening room by DEORON and New Fidelity. It's designed like a primitive church, with the audio system arranged like crosses.
Anton Dubrovin shared Akina Nakamori's 1986 album *Fushigi*. He spent time looking for a high-quality version, then realized the recording itself was lo-fi. He hasn't stopped listening since.
Music and sound design were big themes this week.
This week on Curater, the Olto e-bike by Infinite Machines was a popular subject. Glauber noted its industrial, minimalist design and how it avoids the Cybertruck comparison despite similar angles and color. He also highlighted the bike's launch campaign. It brought back a 90s style, pairing the futuristic product with regular people in everyday clothes. The photography for Olto, directed by cian, used retro aesthetics for a hyper-futuristic product. Glauber connected these ideas across his curations.
Elsewhere, Anton Dubrovin shared a series of gradient works by Raimer Jochims, specifically "PLATON, 1972." He found them hard to look away from, a simple yet compelling visual.
That’s a look at some of the recent curations.

This week on Curater, Alex Prager's photograph "Eve" showed up. It's a shot with birds mid-flight, a whole scene that feels perfect.
Glauber also curated paintings by Sang Woo Kim. Kim uses a vertical way of storytelling, combining different frames into one piece. The textures are distinct.
There were also Charley Harper's murals, "Web of Life" and "Wall of All Species." These are rare finds, commissioned for Miami University and a federal building.
Finally, the Braun LE1 loudspeaker from 1959. Dieter Rams designed it. It's a massive, square speaker.
That's a look at some of this week's highlights.
