اتصلت لايبة باستشاري هجرة من أجل البحث عن قبول في جامعة هارفارد فطلب منها 7 ملايين روبية باكستانية (نحو 95,000 ريال) وذلك لتأمين القبول والمنحة.

والدها الذي تعيش معه في شقة مستأجرة، اضطر لبيع قطعة أرض بمبلغ 2.1 مليون روبية ورهنت أمها مجوهراتها في البنك لتغطية المبلغ المتبقي.

دفعت لايبة كامل المبالغ لاستشاري الهجرة الذي سلمها الأوراق المختومة وكانت سعيدة للغاية بتحقيق حلمها، لكن عندما راسلت الجامعة من أجل القبول والسفر، تبين أن الوثائق مزيفة بالكامل.

لايبة أرسلت رسالة أخيرة إلى ��الها قالت فيها:
لا تخبر أبي بالاحتيال الذي وقع عليّ، إن علم فسيموت.

غادرت لايبة المنزل لكنها لم تعد وبعد البحث عنها وجدوها منتحرة على جذع شجرة.

Sikhs as a community take the least in benefits in the UK, have the 3rd highest wealth and the highest % of home ownership. Does that make Sikhs better than native Brits?

Certain areas have been deprived and lacking opportunities for decades. We need smarter immigration & less benefits but race does not play a part.
