If ITL already exists, why does ITL Vault need ICV?

The answer is simple: ITL and ICV are not designed to serve the same purpose.

ITL belongs to the broader InterLink ecosystem. It can be used and connected across many DApps, services, and business models built on InterLink.

ICV is different.

ICV is intended to specifically represent ITL Vault.

You can think of InterLink as a large city.

ITL is like the common currency used throughout that city.

Meanwhile, each business operating inside the city may have its own Business Token representing its specific business activities.

For ITL Vault, that token would be ICV, if our proposal is approved by the InterLink Foundation.

So:

Owning ITL does not mean owning ICV.
And owning ICV does not replace the role of ITL.
ITL has a broader role across the entire ecosystem.

ICV has a more focused role: ITL Vault and the business activities of ITL Vault.

What we find especially interesting about this model is that a DApp does not necessarily need to compete with the blockchain’s main token.

Instead, Business Tokens can create an additional economic layer built around ITL.

If one day InterLink has hundreds of DApps and many businesses operating on its blockchain, each Business Token could represent a different business model, while ITL could serve as the asset connecting them together.

That is how we currently view ICV:

ITL is part of the InterLink ecosystem.
ICV is part of ITL Vault.

Different roles, but both can contribute to building a larger on-chain economy. 💜

🔥 BREAKING NEWS FROM ITL VAULT!

ITL Vault has decided to move forward with registering to participate in the Transaction-Back protocol built on InterLink’s IBTE infrastructure. 💜

In the coming period, ITL Vault will begin the application and approval process with the InterLink Foundation with the goal of issuing the ICV Token.

ICV will be the Business Token representing the business operations of ITL Vault.

If approved, an ICV/ITL liquidity pool will be created on IBTE and will become the foundation for ITL Vault’s Transaction-Back mechanism.

What makes this model especially interesting is how it connects real business activity with on-chain value.

As ITL Vault generates real revenue and fees from its business operations, a portion of that revenue and those fees will be allocated to the Transaction-Back mechanism and automatically swapped into ICV through the ICV/ITL liquidity pool. The ICV acquired through this process will then be permanently burned.

This creates a clear cycle:

Real ITL Vault business operations → Revenue and fees → Demand for ICV → ICV buyback → ICV burn.

In addition, liquidity providers who contribute liquidity to the ICV/ITL pool may also earn a share of the trading fees generated from swaps within the pool.

For us, this is not simply about launching another token.

ICV is intended to become a digital representation of the actual business activity of ITL Vault, connecting business operations, revenue, users, liquidity, and the InterLink ecosystem through a more transparent on-chain mechanism.

To participate in this system, we will work hard to meet InterLink’s strict KYB requirements and complete all necessary procedures required for review and approval.

At this stage, this is still ITL Vault’s decision and application plan. We will begin working with the InterLink Foundation and keep the community updated as more official information becomes available.
