Jupuary Kickoff: Next Tuesday!

Let's kickoff Jupuary 2025 with a J.U.P Rally next Tuesday 330PM UTC!

In the rally, we will review the key ideas for Jupuary, the second vote proposal, crucial feedback and data points, and early allocation parameters.

We will explain as much as we can about the constraints, thought processes and also anchor expectations and goals accordingly.

@Joshyysmartt @JupiterExchange declaring a plan to airdrop jupuary 2025, making a promise and having people committed to jupiter for a year, to only back down will not bode well with a lot of people. keeping your word in web 3.0 is key.

The first Jupuary vote has concluded with 58% comfortable with the baseline plan, 42% uncomfortable.

This was another all-time-high in voter turnout, with 364M JUP voting. More importantly, there was 12K verified voter feedback, many of which are detailed and thoughtfully written.

As the team is seeking a 70% supermajority on this proposal, there will be a second vote.

Here's the plan over the next few days:

1. Review feedback from all sources
2. Address all main areas of concern and opposition
3. Put up a new proposal that we can stand behind

The next vote will happen early next week - Monday or Tuesday, aka 2/3 Dec.

We are extremely appreciative of the passion that both sides have displayed in this whole process in putting their votes and voices forward. From an early-look at the feedback, there really is not much division - we are an incredibly long-term oriented community who wants the best for the Jupiverse, we just need to get there together.

Let's weather this tiresome uncertainty together, and remember that if we do find a way to unify behind a plan, we can emerge far stronger, aware of each others' perspectives and innovate on a ton of decentralized governance and communications along the way.
