I want you to look at these two groups:
Batch A
Maraga
Omtatah
Sifuna
Reuben Kigame
Batch B
Ruto
Gachagua
Kalonzo
Matiang’i
Mudavadi
Now ask yourself what kind of change are you looking for? If your preferred candidate is in Batch B, then you are choosing from the same political establishment that has dominated our politics for years. This is why the country keeps moving two steps forward and three steps backward.
We cannot complain about the same problems year after year while continuing to trust the same political patterns that created them. If we want to break the cycle, we must be ready to think differently, judge leaders by their values and track record, and put the interests of the country above political loyalty.
We haven’t grasped how deep the internal security crisis in the country is because we use words that mask its intensity, such as “goons” and “insecurity”.
So what if we called it what it is, “state-organized armed militia”, “state-funded terrorism”, “state-sponsored violence”?
A legal officer went missing and has been found dead. None of us are safe?? But you’ll hear fuckers shouting TUTAM like the fucking assholes they are!!!
Anybody who stands for this madness is the problem!!!
Refusing to forget is patriotism. Holding this grudge FOR FUCKING LIFE is patriotism. We will NEVER forgive and NEVER forget. Ever!
May the collective Souls of the murdered men, women and children rest in peace.
We will never forget you.
We will always remember you.
✊🏾🇰🇪♥️
June 25th should be our Kwibuka. A permanent day of remembrance of all the lives that have been lost due to police brutality and State sanctioned violence.
CNN was able to run their investigations and culprit police officers like John Kaboi were unmasked but none has been charged for the killings. We can not be a people who burry our heads and allow impunity because a few coins ate thrown our way in the name of compensation.
