So I've heard two completely different things about how dialogue should be treated.
1) "You are so funny." She said.
2) "You are so funny." Her voice bubbled over with laughter.
Which do you prefer #WritingCommmunity?
@Tobys_Tale That's a good way to look at it. I learned when I was in grade school not to use the word "said". Use other words like "expressed" "exclaimed" etc. But things change and so do general opinions.
