“My old private jet will now serve as an emergency air ambulance for all Ghanaians. Any Ghanaian with a medical emergency who needs to be flown out for treatment can use the jet free of charge. I have dedicated it to the nation to support both local and international medical emergencies involving Ghanaians.” — Ibrahim Mahama
President John Dramani Mahama has been decorated as the Grand Patron of the West African College of Surgeons (WACS), in recognition of his distinguished support for healthcare and surgical advancement in the region.

HERE WE GO.
As announced a few months ago, I successfully lobbied for key infrastructure projects for Afife Senior High Technical School.
After months of due process and strict compliance with procurement laws, the contracts have been awarded. Contractors will officially move to site after the sod-cutting ceremony on Monday, 26th January 2026.
These projects are funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) and are scheduled for completion within 12 months.
This marks only the first phase of a broader transformation agenda for the school.
In parallel, I have initiated processes to ensure that the uncompleted and abandoned structures on campus are completed within the same 12-month period.
With your continued support, we will deliver even more.

This evening, I want to share a story that reinforces why leadership must be anchored in empathy and quality engagement, no matter how demanding the work gets.
A few months ago, a man visited me in Tadzewu seeking help for his daughter to enter a training college or nursing school. I asked to see her results; they were excellent. But it was clear he wasn’t certain about the path he wanted for her, so I insisted on speaking with the young lady herself.
On the phone, she said something that touched with me: “I want to go to the university, but my dad said he can’t afford it, so I should choose between nursing and teacher training.” She had the ambition and the grades. What she lacked was the financial support and the freedom to choose her own future.
I gave her father money to buy the university forms and assured her that if she got admitted, I would support her.
This week she sent me her admission letter. She has been offered a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ghana. She chose law, and after going through the competitive process, she earned it. I have already made part payment of her fees so she can register, and she will be fully enrolled on our scholarship.
The point of this story is not about the fees. I do that every day with the little I have, and currently 421 young people are officially on my scholarship scheme. That excludes the numerous students who I support outside the scheme.
The real message is this: leadership demands presence. It is difficult, it is hard, and we are constantly swamped by the pressures of the office. But nothing should replace quality engagements and empathy on our journey. If I had only listened to the father, we would have pushed this brilliant girl into a path she didn’t choose. By taking a moment to hear her out, we unlocked her dream, not the convenient option.
Empathy helps us understand people’s real needs and make decisions that genuinely change lives. This is why we keep pushing.
NB: 🌟I covered her personal details.
🌟🌟Scholarship portal opens next week.!!!

As humans,
We can never truly know anything for certain.
That,
notwithstanding, we can have beliefs and opinions.
Yet, we will never know for sure if they are right.
The front of the Ga Traditional Council. The then focal point of the Ga people. Obviously, the future of the Ga-Dangme Youth. The Ga Mantsɛ, King Takie Tɛiko Tsuru ll.
Your reputation is in the hands of others.
That’s what reputation is/means. And you can’t control that.
The only thing you can control is your character.
I had to organize a second set of free buses for the students to go back home for vacation on Tuesday because of the overwhelming numbers. Thank God for everything. We give you all the praise. Ayawaso West will be great again. #Idey4u
Dear University students in Ayawaso West, I have secured internship slots for you for this long vacation. From Banks to Gov institutions to private firms. Please send your applications to [email protected]
First come, first served. You know I Dey 4 you.
Dear UK Bar Council and Commonwealth Lawyers Association,
Ghanaians will not tolerate such nonsensical colonialist-induced insults, disguised as demands, from you. Never! You can not order our President to "Immediately and without delay reinstate the Chief Justice of Ghana...."
