The owner of the rights to the Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, and Helvetica fonts, the American company Monotype, has closed access to their catalog on its website to Russian users.

Monotype has not commented but when computer users inside Russia attempt to open a page to access the fonts, they receive a message saying, "The site owner may have set restrictions that prevent you from accessing the site," reports @svobodaradio .
